IPV6 Addresse(s) /64

I see a vps that says:
IPV4 Addresse 1
IPV6 Addresse(s) /64

Does this mean if I were to virtualize this vps, I would have 64 ipv6 addresses assigned or available? Would they be free?

    This means you will get a full /64 IPv6 subnet which contains about 18446744073709551616 single IPs.

    The /64 IPv6 block means you’re being assigned a full IPv6 subnet with 2^64 (18 quintillion) addresses — not just 64 individual IPs.

    Not 64 addresses, ipv6 is very different from ipv4, a single /64 contains 18 quintillion ( 18,446,744,073,709,551,616) unique IP addresses.

    Even though it has basically unlimited IPs, it is treated as a single IP by a lot of websites. You should also treat it as a single IP address for practicality reasons.

    It means you have 1 x IPV4 address and 1 x IPV6 /64 subnet (a range of addresses).

    In IPv6, the number of hosts per range doesn't matter. What really matters is the amount of /64 subnets.

    If you don't know what /64 means then it's probably not relevant to your use of the vps, don't worry about it.

    Would be cool if this was broke up into a table with who offers a routed /64, /56, /48, dns delegation, willing to announce and route customers owned / rented IPv6 prefixes with LOA. I'd love to participate in contributing my findings as I find them in any way.

    /64 is the CIDR notation. You can search it on Google but understanding it properly requires some knowledge of binary. Keep in mind you should start learning CIDR and subnetting in the context IPv4 first and then, once you're comfortable, move on to IPv6.

    There are plenty of great tutorials since the early days of the internet, many cover both subnetting + binary.

    (You can also ask @yoursunny to teach you. he only charges $300 an hour).

    @yoursunny charges $300 an hour only for base package. It includes explaining why /64 is enough, why you shouldn't give smaller subnets and why IPv6 is important in general.
