Hi @smkzr -- The slight price premium for our Dublin location is directly tied to the increased operational costs in this particular region.
With that being said, we're committed to keeping our Dublin offerings as competitive as possible while maintaining the performance and reliability our customers expect. We've worked hard to absorb much of the increased costs in operating out of this region, but a small premium was necessary to make this location sustainable long-term.
We believe our deals are still advantageous even with this in mind, given the situation going on in the EU in terms of increased power costs, overhead, etc.

While the E5 processors might not be the latest when it comes to raw benchmarks, they've proven to be absolute workhorses in production environments. We've found them to be incredibly stable compared to some newer options out there. If you've been following discussions on this forum, you'll notice the issues many have experienced with AsRock Ryzen boards. We've encountered similar challenges in our Ryzen lineup, which is why we're looking to transition to Supermicro builds for future Ryzen deployments. For our E5 infrastructure, we've always relied on either Supermicro or Dell hardware - both with proven track records for rock-solid stability and uptime. Sometimes the tried-and-true approach wins out when reliability is the priority!

Hi @Void -- That's the plan, now that we've recently finished turning up our new rack in Dublin, we'll be able to shift gears and focus on expanding in other locations including AMS soon! If all goes as planned, we should have Amsterdam back in stock within the next ~two months.
In the meantime, you can grab something in Dublin and request a migration to Amsterdam once inventory is available. The latency between the two locations is pretty decent (only about 15ms difference between the two locations)
