Seeking a Singapore VPS to host a minecraft server.

Hello,

I recently made a post regarding seeking a VPS in germany but we had a change of plans and hence I'm looking for a Singapore based VPS to host a minecraft server.

I'm not going to ask for any ridiculous requirements as I know that the market in SG is a bit different.

I would like to know what would be possible for a budget of 10-15 USD/mo

I would like it to be DDR4 and SSD/NVMe.

Ram optimized of course as I need to run multiple minecraft servers on it.

Do suggest any options other than contabo and hosthatch, I've already looked at them.

    they're basically it, maybe @onidel? there's also cherryservers but idk how that'd do for minecraft. there's also advinservers extravm might have something too.

    yup same as above and there's also @kuroit whom I use personally and it's good for my need -> it's not for gaming @HostDZire & @serverpoint also offer vps at Singapore [don't have any experience but heard good things bout them do ur due diligence 😄]

    They are either E5-2699a v4 processors or E5-2683v4 processors. We are currently in progress of replacing all E5-2683s for the E5-2699a v4.

    For high frequency, we use Intel's Xeon Gold 6144 at 3.5Ghz.

    If that's the case, if a VM lands on E5-2683v4, can we ask you to move it to E5-2699a v4?

    Wouldnt you need a server with a cpu that has better single core performance to host a minecraft server. I don't think an old Xeon VPS would be that good. In my experience, my server started getting laggy even with heavy optimization mods at around 15-20 players with an i7-4790k (4.40 GHz). I had tons of ram, but the cpu became the limiting factor.

    Are you able to double the LET2-RAM3 plan?

    I'd like purchase a bigger VPS if possible, do let me know if that's possible or if I need to buy 2 of them.
