Need hourly paid VPS
nameserver
Member
I need a VPS for testing scripts and apps (python, react app, etc) with ipv4.
Only need it for few hours so I would like hourly paid, sort of top up and pay as you go.
Any location, any spec (at least 1vCPU and 1GB ram to run ANYTHING) is fine as it is just for testing, not for production.
Thanks.

@onidel has hourly payments in multiple locations, choose the cheapest and the closest to you
for free you could do this on oracle cloud, gcp, vultr has a free tier vm that is low spec
for paid i usually use hetzner cloud for very quick build and destroy vm's
Why not Vultr?
Hetzner is my go-to when I need a VPS for a few hours/days
I didn’t know hetzner was billed by hour but they have very annoying id verify process right?
Almost forgot about vultr
I didnt find it annoying. you just sort of scan and send them a photo ID...as a truck driver everyone and their brother asks for your ID so i guess im numb to it and dont give a shit. otherwise there's plenty others that are hourly...vultr, digital ocean, linode, aws lightsail. surprisingly found lightsail to be stupid easy to use also.
there's also this super obscure provider which surprisingly works really well for hourly
https://cloud.rackdog.com/app/
https://lowendbox.com/blog/youve-never-seen-pay-as-you-go-like-this-before-rackdogs-innovative-cloud-offer/
they have basically no ID requirement and just require you to add account credits. I use them here and there but found them too obscure to use for prod anything
Try @cloudblast
Vultr starts at $0.005 per hour and allow you deploy servers in locations around the world.
I personally haven't found a provider that does hourly better than Vultr, though Hetzner is also decent since they let you rent auction servers hourly. If anyone can recommend something better than Vultr that **also ** has a web API to automate new server deployments, I'm also interested.
Can recommend
@onidel
Yes there's web API: https://docs.onidel.com/api-reference/virtual-machine/create-instance
Thanks for the mention folks
