    IPv6 /64 prefix?
    BGP session?
    RDNS?
    PayPal?

    Any YABs?

  • Wondering why so many Germany providers opt for Ceph storage? Actually I don't remember I saw Ceph being used by any non-Germany providers on LET...

So full load is allowed, but how can you differentiate between type of load? Same for bandwidth. Just wondering if you can clarify a bit here

Let's see how we do on LET first - but thanks for the suggestion :)

@NHNHNH000 said: possible provide looking glass ?

We can provide Test IP's or Test-Servers for 24 hours (via Ticket) if you like. We currently do not have our own LG currently. But our ISPs are:
    Skylink: https://lg.as49581.net/
    NTT: https://lg.ip-projects.de/

    @yoursunny said: IPv6 /64 prefix?

Yes, a /64 v6 Subnet is included per IPv4. We currently do not offer BGP-Sessions for VMs. rDNS is possible for v4 and v6. v6 Currently only via ticket. In a few days automatically via CP. PayPal is possible, yes

For an special deal? Or for the smallest deal of each cpu type?

@dedipromo said: Wondering why so many Germany providers opt for Ceph storage? Actually I don't remember I saw Ceph being used by any non-Germany providers on LET...

For EPYC's we use CEPH because it allows us to offer HA status. It is also very convenient for us in terms of maintenance because we can migrate VMs between hosts in seconds.

@charger said: So full load is allowed, but how can you differentiate between type of load? Same for bandwidth. Just wondering if you can clarify a bit here

Good question! Full CPU or bandwidth utilization is generally allowed as long as the workload is legitimate and does not negatively impact the host node or network. We mainly differentiate by behavior:

Allowed: compiling code, processing media, game servers, heavy backend jobs, etc.
However, in our experience, these tasks do not generate 100% utilization of the cores for days on end.

Not allowed: Crypto mining, CPU stress tests, continuous benchmarking or hosting public speed test mirrors. Here you usually see a very static graph.

For bandwidth, the same applies: high traffic is fine as long as it is clean, not abusive (e.g. no DDoS amplification) and within the fair usage limits of the plans that provide for it. We reserve the right to intervene if usage adversely affects other customers or violates our policies.
