Their service transfer right now is: $5.00 USD One Time
Yes, it is a 5 usd one time payment
@host_c this is basically a nonissue, would be be possible to change the novnc app you use so it includes a paste command?
Like this novnc
typing a 32 length password is basically impossible without a paste function
It looks like noVNC already supports copy/paste - perhaps the version is just outdated?
yes it also supports right click to paste/clipboard sharing (although this dosent work for passwords that have special characters for some reason) via a supported browser but their one dosent
I feel your problem, it is the same for us
The vnc is out of our control, and ModulesGarden said no for the moment
However, we might have luck with Splice Console, but from our tests it would need a heavy development to make it work smooth.
We will do something about this, but not for the moment .
Yeah it's not a huge issue/priority, just wanted to let you know
You don't have an option to update noVNC without ModulesGarden? It doesn't seem like it would be too difficult.
Nop, as that service is integrated in their module. We tryed to modify it but it did not work, so for the moment it is on pause.
That's a shame - might be an idea to expand beyond ModulesGarden?
Yapp, did that also, we tested other provisioning modules last year
They did excell in GUI and user interface a lot, but lacked complexity in the admin/backend so for the moment we stick to MG, as they did most of the stuff we asked .
Also in their new beta version they switched all commands sent to proxmox to api from login, so in theory this will lead to a bunch of things fixed, yes, it will take them some time but I am confident that they will pull it of .
I prefer to have a complicated and complex admin area that gives me flexibility so I can create more unique offers, even if this meanes it lacks some user friendly features- as long as they do not make the access unusable.
This question is low priority but do you offer storage addons to existing VPS plans? I have one of the coveted $7/yr 1 TB storage plans and am curious to know if a 5 TB disk could be added to it for $45/yr to "upgrade" it to mimic the coveted 5 TB plans, or do I need to get lucky with ordering a 5 TB plan during a promo sale drop?
I don't need more storage right now, but just want to know what my upgrade options are in the future (if any are available).
Thanks!
I think best way would be creating a ticket and asking for pricing and possibility. As only specific nodes can have HDD storage added. And they would tell you how much such thing would cost.
I asked for a price to add HDD to my 666 offer, and they were kind enough to give me the pricing. There is also add on services under store that you can order but I am not sure if it would be easier to do that.
While I was very well aware many months ago how good HOST-C service and support is, it took yet another occasion (read: customer is complicated) to see how they are willing to go even extra mile to make their customer happy. Really amazing job, thank you @host_c, you wear your Top Host badge with a pride!
If @dev_vps was here, I'm starting to be sincerely worried about him, he's been absent for too long now... he would add this after my comment, and it's increasingly becoming more true for me too.
if I can keep only one vps, it would be ....
P.S. Stuart needs a beer!
Oooo, he got a few 6 packs during labor day, he is happy, I checked
Thank you @maverick
@ fellas
Those of you still on Scale Gen 1 with some very impressive uptimes (240+ days in some cases) — you're probably going to hate me for what I’m about to say...
Next week, we’ll be shutting down all Xeon Scale Gen 1 servers to upgrade them to Scale Gen 2, as previously promised.
The exact date and time will be sent via email and also posted on our platform — keep an eye on your inbox this Monday for the announcement.
We’re only dealing with a few nodes, and they’ll be taken down one by one. During the process, we’ll be replacing the CPUs and performing some firmware updates as well. Expected downtime per node is around 30–45 minutes.
I really hate doing this, but unfortunately, CPUs aren’t hot-swappable. 😅
Feel free to bring the pitchforks.
Cheers!
@host_c why i cant login using google account, i remember on november 2024 i signup using google account. Also i tried to reset pass using my email, but no email on my inbox.
it said: Error We were unable to connect your account. Please contact your system administrator.
...you should PM him your email address and other useful identifying information so he can locate your account.
thanks for the tips, i send him my mail address

I love this service man. Greetings from Romania.
Updates:
On 16 May 2025 at 09:00 AM (Bucharest time), we will be performing CPU and node upgrades at our Oradea location. This maintenance will be carried out in two phases:
Phase 1: Customers hosted on Xeon E5 v4 nodes will receive security patches. A node reboot will be required to apply the updates, which will also temporarily shut down all associated VMs. Estimated downtime: ~30 minutes per node.
Phase 2: Customers on Xeon Scalable Gen 1 nodes will receive both security patches and a CPU upgrade. This process also requires a reboot, and the estimated downtime is ~60 minutes per node.
We will begin with the Xeon E5 v4 nodes, followed by the Scalable Gen 1 nodes.
We understand that downtime is inconvenient, but these upgrades are essential to maintain a secure, high-performance infrastructure and ensure the best experience for you. A follow-up notification will be sent once both phases are completed.
THX for entrusting us with your precious stuff

We’re excited to announce the implementation of automated upgrade and downgrade functionality for your VPS services. This feature is now available in your client panel.
To use it:
Select the desired service from your panel.
Click on "Upgrade/Downgrade Options".
Choose the desired specifications and proceed to checkout.
The cost of the upgrade will be calculated based on your current billing cycle, and you will only be charged for the remaining days until your next renewal date.
Please note:
- Available upgrade options may vary depending on your VPS model. Not all specifications are available for all services.
- Upgrades can be performed freely within the available options.
- Downgrades are only possible down to the original base specifications of your VPS (you cannot reduce resources below the original plan).
- Downgrading storage (disk size) will require re-provisioning the VPS from scratch, and all existing data will be permanently deleted. Please back up your data before proceeding with any storage downgrade.
This module is now production-ready. If you encounter any issues, please don’t hesitate to open a support ticket.

What processor will the xeon nodes be upgraded to?

6148 > 6240
I like your test machine, can I take it for a spin because I also want to test some stuff
