  • Nice

  • Any new activity for 5.1?

  • It's a great and useful product

  • nice will try claw cloud

  • As per my personal experience, us west zone works fine enough for a free provisioning service amid some little glitches which persist.(eg. pod cpu/ram monitoring not working). But Tokyo east seems buggy, same docker template(docker image + resource quota) runs crashingly in that zone meanwhile perfectly fine in us west. And in the case of domain customization, japan east won’t issue you any certificate after cname binded with the target domain. Above all, it’s an impressive starting point for clawcloud to undertake a heroku-like PaaS, ready to run and easy to use.

  • What's the damn deal with the AI spam? -.-

    quit easy to use.

  • Really great stuff! I just play with some preinstalled applications and they're really easy to setup (ok literally just one-click with default config). I can also adjust to minimum cores/ram so that it won't burn my free $5 at the end of the month.

However I'm still struggling to get the custom domain to work. Already point my subdomain to the CNAME with long public url, and waited for a day for it to propagate, still get "ERR_CONNECTION_RESET" error. I can launch the app via the long public url though so I wonder where's the issue. I use cloudflare for my domain DNS though but I did choose to bypass it in the record. Any idea anyone?

  • Nice! I don’t mind some freebies 😎

  • Great

Feedback received. We kindly ask you to post your question to our help center: https://question.run.claw.cloud/. Here comes the third comment follow-up. As many of you might noticed, we have APP Store feature that collects popular open-source projects. We currently have 76 templates, what are other templates you guys need?

I think we need email accounts back. I registered an email account before, but now I can't log in. There is no email entry on the login page.

Report a bug. http://claw.cloud incorrectly redirects to https://claw.cloud/home.php, it should redirect to https://claw.cloud/ or https://claw.cloud/index.php

    I don't understand this sentence:

👉180 days of GitHub registration users will unlock $5 for free every month

  • I think he mean thats the account need to be older than 180 days to be eligible.

  • good!Thank you!

I have experienced many PaaS platforms, such as Fly.io, Render, Railway, Heroku, Koyeb, and so on. I really like Fly.io because it offers 3GB of free persistent storage. These platforms allow me to quickly build simple images and run small tests. They almost provide an all-in-one Docker container service. Before I had my own blog, their free Paas plans indeed gave me opportunities to try and experiment.

Now, I see that CLAWCLOUD RUN is also joining the PaaS space, though the "cake" is always limited. As long as it remains stable enough, I'm happy. I have been running a small container on CLAWCLOUD RUN, and so far, it has been online for 28 days. I noticed that its persistent storage is 1GB, which is smaller than Fly.io’s.

The CLAWCLOUD RUN dashboard is quite different from other PaaS platforms — it feels more like a desktop. There are indeed quite a few bugs, and the website loading speed is somewhat slow. But after all, they are just entering this field, right? I’m hopeful that they will continue to improve and grow.

Thanks for input! What do you guys think about our desktop-like UI (originally we are trying to promote our [cloud-os] concept)? Leave your comment below and win an apple gift card!
