  • 1 core, 1 RAM, 25 GB SSD = 36 USD per year. Lovely, I'll take 5 of this.

    No info about CPU either.

So the products listed over here https://www.ethernetservers.com/store/ssd-linux-vps have become KVM now?

I also just noticed that these product listings lack info on disk type and CPU family so the parser is failing to import them. In fact the parser has been failing for some time apparently and I'm digging out the logs now to figure out for how long exactly. But it has been quite a while :(

But most imprtantly you invalidated the WHMCS aff links 👿

    That's correct.

WHMCS was moved from /clients to / to facilitate a new website, but redirects were created. Feel free to DM me and we can discuss the affiliate links and hopefully come to a solution.

No it's fine, I adjusted the links on my side; I'm also manually filling the missing info regarding CPU family and disk type, but it would be best to add this info directly to the product descriptions so that if the info changes, I don't remain with stale data. It would also be clearer for buyers browsing your website.

    :)

Thank you, that's helpful and I've now added the disk type at https://www.ethernetservers.com/store/ssd-linux-vps

The CPU family is a little more complex as it varies per location (AMD EPYC in Los Angeles and New Jersey, and Intel Xeon in Frankfurt).

If you have any other suggestions or feedback, I'm all ears - thank you once again.

    Oh great, you're most welcome.

What I usually see in such circumstances with WHMCS catalogs, is that the location fields within the drop-down menu contain multiple tokens of information; in this case, the location fields could be altered to contain both the location and the CPU type, class or model.

Doing it this way would more clearly bind the CPU type of the VPS to the customer's order, who would see the CPU type clearly mentioned in the Order Summary and then in his invoice.

Alternatively but less clearly, you could just prose down these rules within the product description text.

Looks like the OpenVZ based services disappeared from the 'shop' (not ordearble).
For the current customers, the exist OpenVZ based VM's will be remain the same? (pricing, plans, conditions). I hope so really.

Quality and service cost. Imagine having a business like a charity at $7 a year or $0.30 a month. It's a provider premium!

Imagine it's better to work at McDonald's for $16 an hour. :D

There will be no changes for OpenVZ customers for at least the next 19 months - December 2026, which is the end of life date for OpenVZ 7. The plan beyond that has not yet been established, but there will be communication with all OpenVZ customers in the future with more information.
