They should have set expectation as E-2136 for LE-3 too... then some can consider lottery upgrade (only 3%-5% differences in performances)

I don’t think they sell enough SYS compared to KS for real lotto to happen, best you’ll get is a network upgrade highly unlikely you’ll get disk/ram upgrades on these SYS

It's kind of what I have with my French account when I cancel and order via the website. They charge me for something like a day. It has always been like this.

Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
If the order has completed, and the server has been setup, you cannot cancel the order. As the service has been activated, for the selected time period, no refund can be made.

That is from the NA TOS. They dont have to comply with the 14 day cooldown policy applicable in Europe and UK.

Well... either they keep the SetUp-fee in the future or simply block 'problematic' accounts. No point in keeping people who order 20 boxes, refund 15 and transfer the remaining ones to other accounts.

Have you ever in the past renewed a canceled/refunded server to dodge the setup fee? I know someone who got their refund requests disabled for doing this.

The "too many refunds" thing i have seen be an issue at hetzner but not at ovh yet.

I had a SYS server back when SYS was a separate entity from OVH and it wasn't as easy to get refund etc
