@LowHosting is in Germany, IIRC they were contemplating writing a DDoS filter for Rust, I think if you ask they might implement it given how popular Rust seems to be.

It would help if you'd let us know what CPU you already have. If this is AMD Ryzen 9950X then it's hard to beat, if it's some decade old Intel Xeon then it's likely doable.
