We charge an additional 5$/mo for SSH access but we provide it for free with any our bigger Reseller and Master Reseller Plans. Mostly a trust thing so we charge that additional cost for small plans.

I see most hosting providers here with same offer prodive ssh access, As that are basic nowadays to deploy few apps. And you can provide jailedssh access.
I want to buy shared hosting not reseller but for hosting 7$ a year and for ssh 5$ a month is not for me. As i can get a decent vps with a 5$ a month itself.
Absolutely, if you can afford a DirectAdmin license then you can buy a VPS instead.
We can't just give away SSH to anyone, hence an amount is asked.
If you were one of our existing customers, we would have give it to you without any charge.
The 5$/mo addon is still a concept, If you're willing to pay a 10$/onetime SSH access setup fee then I could consider this option.
You can get free directAdmin licence with buyvm vps or aws lightsale all below 5$ vps there few more vps providers too.
And almost all shared hosting providers here provide ssh. How it changes things of being a existing customer and with new customer? So you are saying providing ssh to existing customer is safe and guarantee that they will not damage anything or paying 5$ will make sure your server is not compromise with ssh? It really makes no sense at all,
Buyshared, hostbrr and may more all in same price as your have ssh access. And btw i asked for jailedssh.
If those providers are providing DA for free then I highly recommend you go with them due to full flexibility.
