Hey everyone,
So, while hunting for a 'suitable' server setup, I kinda went overboard and now have a few extras. You know how it is... you start with one server, then a second one, and then another one... next thing you know, you are wondering why your credit card statement is looking weird. 
Anyways, I'm hoping to transfer these out and get back a bit of what I spent.
Here’s what I've got:
- 3x OVH Kimsufi Servers
- 2x GreenCloudVPS VPS
- 1x Host-C Storage VPS
Before you message me, here are few things you need to know:
- Payment:
- Preferred Method: Wise or PayPal (not F&F) is the easiest for me. Buyer covers the fee. If you planning to use Paypal, please use this SaleCalc tool to calculate the fees.
- BTC or TRON (TRX) work too, but I'll give priority to Wise/PayPal payments if there's multiple people interested at once.
- Payment is needed before we start the transfer process.
- If someone takes a really long time to sort the payment, I might have to move on to the next person in line.
- Getting it Transferred:
- For OVH: You'll need the right kind of OVH account (check the server details below). The transfer itself is usually pretty quick through their system.
- GreenCloudVPS & Host-C: These need a support ticket with them to move the VPS to your account. It can take a little while depending on how busy their support is. Any transfer fee the provider charges is noted below.
- OVH Servers: They are currently set on 'manual renewal'. If no one is interested in any of these servers, I'll let them expire. I guess i'll cut my losses and move on. If you take one of these servers, please make sure you change the renewal to automatic renewal if you intend to use it for long.
- My Availability: I'm based in New Zealand (UTC+12). Unfortunately I have a day job and a good set of friends and neighbours I socialize with on weekends. So I won't be online on LET 24/7. Please bear with me if I don't reply instantly! I promise I'll get back to you.
- Transparency on Pricing: I have added small markups of few cents or a dollar, including the currency conversion fee. Just trying to cover what I paid to get few of these servers myself.

Interested in Host-C Storage VPS
You're right, GCV transfer fee is $10.
But the first transfer is free for me, and only the second one incurs the $10 fee. Since I have two to transfer, I decided to average the total $10 cost across both machines ($5 each). This way, the benefit of the free first transfer is shared fairly between both VPSs.

yup, it has 4 GB RAM.
The default config for that plan is 2 GB RAM. But GCV was offerring double the RAM on triennial payment/renewal term, during the Black Friday 2024 offer. Screenshot below.

Its a regular VM with 22 GB NVME SSD. Though, its a really good VM for its price. If you are looking for a storage VM then Server 5 may be suitable for you. It comes with 40 GB SSD as boot drive + 2 TB SATA HDD for storage.
