Are these three companies all located in the same data center? They basically use a computation-separated CEPH architecture. May I ask, how does this compare to regular NVMe, and which one is better?

  • Their servers are performing really well and I can't deny it. Now, it's all about the price and stock.

  • I think famesystems as well uses the same data center.

I’ve been thinking there’s likely some benefits of merging but I’m just a naked man in a towel

    Does this mean it's good?

  • "Crowdsourcing" Ceph-backed storage solutions benefits customers.

We are also using Ceph (our own deployment). Compared to regular local/raid NVMe, it offers better availability, reliability, and scalability. Of course, this comes with higher setup and maintenance costs :)

Ceph compared to conventional local/RAID NVMe has inferior performance to local setups.
