I need a VPS for domain drop catching script.

The VPS must meet the following conditions:
It must not block WHOIS servers, and must not be blocked by WHOIS servers.
It must allow outbound traffic at least every second, with low rate limiting.
Preferably unmetered, or with high traffic limits (the higher, the better).
I'm prioritizing short-term testing, so no annual plans—monthly billing only.
If you have any good suggestions, please let me know.

u sure bout that or I understood it wrong
Translation error. Corrected.
well I thought it should follow those requirements right?
After edit its: I'm looking for a VPS that does not have any of the following
shouldn't it be: The VPS must meet the following conditions
Fixed. Thanks.
back order or drop catching script? what script are you running?
Drop Catching Script. I was confused between the two words and the meaning. sorry.
I can offer you
1 vCore (Ryzen 9 7950X3D)
2GB RAM
25GB NVMe Storage
20TB Traffic
1x IPv4 + /64 IPv6 Incl.
for $5/month
Hitting whois servers literally every second is going to get the IP blacklisted
1 second is just an example, and I'm actually going to proceed within the allowed range of each whois server.
Personal opinion: domain squatters are the most disrespectful hooligans digging up the internet graveyard while poisoning out all the flowers left behind.
if you are interested, i have a 6 digit domain for sell, named faceur.com. since you are running such business, it can be useful.
dude is about to ddos whois and some poor registrar
Forget it. Not gonna work on a single vps. Dropcatch is using 1200 registrars(!)... No way to compete.
You shouldn't be expecting too much in this area, at least at small scale / at a small budget.
I recently spoke with a major Dutch dropcatcher, who explained me that it is nowadays impossible to dropcatch 'wanted' domains without having a direct EPP connection to a registry (i.e. becoming an accredited registrar yourself). The (sometimes very slim) latency introduced in having a registration executed through a reseller is enough to be too late.
Snapnames or dropcatch
I'd like to clarify a misunderstanding.
The domain I'm trying to catch is identical to a trademark I actively use, and it's been repeatedly backordered by others who try to resell it at high prices.
I can't afford expensive legal disputes or UDRP processes, so I'm attempting to recover it myself through dropcatching.
This is not domain squatting or speculation. it's a legitimate attempt to protect my trademark and online presence.
I'm not trying to abuse the system, just defending what's mine through fair means.
I'd appreciate it if we could keep this thread focused on VPS suggestions.
I'm not some powerful dropcatcher trying to snatch valuable domains from others. I'm just someone who's been staying up late, trying to reclaim a domain that matches a unique trademark I personally use something no one else in the world uses but me.
I'm not here to game the system or compete at scale. I'm just someone who feels it's unfair that others keep grabbing my own brand name and reselling it.
So again, if you have VPS recommendations that fit my original requirements, I’d really appreciate them. Thanks.
According to your description, you should use Snapnames or dropcatch. A VPS won't be of any help.
I’d rather not risk my domain going to auction.
Also, their system are very annoying.
And, I'm already backordering domain in a lot of other local registras. vps is just another option for me to increase my chances.
Do you need just Domain Monitoring, or do you also need automatic registration? Many providers offer free Domain Monitoring.
My script includes automatic domain registration.
At this time, I'm mainly focused on testing.
I get your point. but right now, I just want to test the script I built.
but really is domain parking profitable?
i see domain owners selling domains here for a mere $20-$60
i mean, the owners must have paid a couple of years bef deciding to give them up
so really, where is the profit? (dont quite understand)
Hi kyle1313,
Melbicom can offer the following specs in Europe:
CPU 1 core
RAM 2GB
Storage 20GB
Bandwidth up to 1 Gbps. If the monthly quota 5TB is exceeded, the throughput is reduced to 100 Mbps.
Data transfer Unmetered
The price is €4,72 monthly.
You can take a look here: https://www.melbicom.net/virtualserver/
Those fair means are UDRP. I somehow doubt your trademark claim, as they're expensive. I refuse to doubt you'd have the funds to trademark something but not the funds for an UDRP or an actual dropcatcher.
I understand your skepticism, but not all trademarks are registered through expensive international processes. Some are based on actual and ongoing use, especially in local jurisdictions.
Also, there's a big difference between having funds for a basic trademark filing and spending hundreds on UDRP or high cost backordering. I'm just an individual trying to protect what I built, not a company with a legal team and a large budget.
Again, my goal here is not domination, it's simple self defense.
I agree, although, I’m not 100 % confident in exactly how competitive it is.
I’ve deployed a self-made monitoring script using DAS and WHOIS, will likely try to snapback a domain tonight and see how fast they get it. Interesting stuff.
Please write your domain name here. Somebody like @DP will catch it with the idea of selling it to you, but pretend you don't want to buy it, then at the end of the year when the domain will be expiring he will make an auction and you will buy this domain for $7. Just remember to prepare second account with the appropriate age and number of posts because otherwise you won't be able to participate in the auction.
Also buy domains on WEB3 if you are scared that somebody will take similar domain to yours.
