I was wondering when the scheduled network upgrades for the LAX area will be coming, is there an ETA?
We don't have any additional upgrades scheduled for LA at this time. SLC is directly connected to the LA PoP so the networks share the same providers. Typical latency from LA to SLC is around ~14ms.

China Telecom ASN is AS4134,AS4809 is CN2.
Are you really sure that there is a CN2 route? As far as I know, bandwidth on CN2 (AS4809) is quite expensive. Also, does the return traffic to China Telecom go directly to domestic China Telecom nodes via other providers’ peering, or does it return to China through nodes located in Los Angeles, San Jose, or other regions AS4134 POPs in the U.S.? This is important and should not be confused.
We have direct peering to AS4134 China Telecom Backbone. So there is a typo in the ASN above, apologies. This is the China Telecom peering we have in our network to AS4134 from Los Angeles.
We received the following response regarding the AS4809 question from CT.
With regard to CT’s CN2 (AS4809) service, the online information needs to be updated.
CN2(AS4809) was China Telecom’s enterprise network globally.
This was changed last year.
CN2 is now the enterprise network within mainland China only.
Outside of China, the enterprise network is now CTGNet (AS23764)

They sell out quickly. We are getting additional racks online, we'll make an announcement when the next round of R7's are available. However, once this next round of Ryzen 7's are sold out, it might be a little while before more are offered due to supply chain delays / constraints.
