Need Cheap Dubai VPS

I'm looking for cheap (around 10$) vps located in Dubai with 1TB traffic included. The latency is important, I want to use it as gaming vpn, I have tested my latency to a many dubai servers and most of them are bad (mostly use M247 that are bad), I found servers that my latency is good to them but the datacenters themself doesn't provide any vps so I'm out of options right now, Do you guys know any resellers from these datacenters that would provide Dubai location:
Zenlayer (doesn't have vps in dubai, only has in sa and even that is out of stock)
Gulf Bridge International
I3d
NetActuate
Akamai
Alibabacloud

Melbicom has Etisalat as their transit in UAE, doesn't really get better than that.

Why Dubai if you are in Iran!? You can get better results from other locations.

@notarian your best bet is going with EU, not Asia

I have a few friends from Iran, and they mostly use servers in the EU for VPN purposes. UAE doesn't really have any game servers (or nearby) either way.

I assume you'll use an Iranian VPS for your tunnel, do you have any test IP from that provider so we can give you some recommendations perhaps?

He should actually go with @hosthatch’s Zurich location, it’s one of the best options for connectivity to the Middle East.

  • Thanks for help, unfortunately edisglobal also has bad latency to Iran, https://ping.pe/ has iran location you can check the latency there, it's about 125ms

I need good latency to middle east game servers that are usually located in UAE or Bahrain.

Thanks for the info, Yeah the connectivity to EU is much better compared to ME but i need good latency to middle east game servers that are usually located in UAE or Bahrain. You can check the latency in https://ping.pe, It has two iran servers.

I am not sure they will perform better and I do not think ping.pe results alone aren’t enough to judge. You might want to try AWS EC2 or Google Cloud, they have servers in Bahrain, Oman, and Qatar. I’ve tested Oracle’s Abu Dhabi region as well.

Here is the ping result from Oracle Abu Dhabi:

  • If you want Akamai, then look at Linode. Akamai is Linode's parent company.

AWS EC2 and Google Cloud routes are good but their traffic price is so expensive, I think 1TB was like 100$ on aws, I don't remember google cloud bandwidth prices but i remember it being expensive, Oracle cloud is good although your abu dhabi routes is bad, i had found some ip ranges from oracle that gives good ping like 139.185.36.6, 193.123.95.0, 129.148.211.7 (these are all dubai, maybe abu dhabi is just bad) but I couldn't complete registering on their website yet

I don't think any of those would let you register from Iran to begin with

Linode doesn't sell Dubai servers but there are Akamai ips that are in Dubai like 23.47.114.2, Maybe they use it only for their internal things

Yeah you are right , There are usually some middle mans that will resell servers from these datacenters

Damn just putting in an Dubai/UAE ip in ping.pe shows the routes are so bad to anywhere else in the world. Amsterdam, and Frankfurt are the only good ones slightly around 110 ping

  • G-Core Dubai locations are also good but it's not in my budget, It's around 35$

  • Something is wrong with the title of this thread. It has the words "cheap" and "Dubai" next to each other.

@notarian - are you well mate?

  • Looks like DigitalOcean SG has pretty good connection to NetActuate Dubai but awful connections to IR

All mentioned providers are trash. They are not even recognized by local ISP. Edis +/- good, but their ranges are blocked or shadow listed.

I hardly found one dc in UAE with +/- clean network. Price is insane.

Basically justhost.ru is reselling them for less but also less resources.

    Yes, most providers use melbicom

You may check, it is even located in Fujairah or so.

melbicom is not recognized by local isps

Melbicom/just.hosting have roughly 40ms to Tehran via Iranet. That's probably your cheapest and best choice IMO.

Options in UAE are extremely limited, you can check for servers in southern Italy, they have a sub 100ms (usually around 90ms) ping to UAE and it should be great to Iran as well.

From what I've seen, there is no direct link from UAE to Iran, most of the traffic goes to EU first.

  • GulfGulf Member

Tried a server at i3d, it goes to Oman, then to Iran

    ping 40 ms

  • AWS has UAE region, it’s very good to me.

there are a lot of sites that provide dubai location around 10$ but the routes to Iran is bad

i3d doesn't sell vps itself right? do you know any resellers?
