I don't think that's an excuse for an unofficial transaction. I would want fast responses from the seller just to be sure I'm not getting scammed. So far every service transfer I've experienced the seller has been very quick and helpful in facilitating a smooth transaction (similarly I've done the same to buyers).
At least give a heads up you'll be slow to respond so the buyer doesn't get nervous, etc. I give my time zone and/or some crude ETA when I'll get to the transfer so the buyer doesn't get nervous waiting, and/or can delay their payment.
