Tencent Cloud will record your data and what you do and give it to the Chinese government?????????????
It's all automated, and it's called PRISM.

Who will Violate your privacy more @CharityHost_org or @TencentLighthouse ?
It’s so cheap, I’m kicking myself for blowing my last cash on drugs :v
So a Chinese knockoff version of AWS Lightsail being called “Lighthouse” is peak China moment. 🤣
BGP?
This image shows how a Chinese developer lost their entire product — over 100,000 users — because Tencent Cloud deleted their code and database. The reason? They missed a notification about an overdue payment of just 2 RMB (around $0.28 USD). Seven days later, Tencent wiped everything with no recovery option.
This kind of ruthless behavior is sadly not surprising to many in China. Tencent has a reputation for prioritizing profit and control over user support or responsibility. In this case, their team only helped the developer after the story went viral and public pressure mounted.
It’s a stark reminder: when you trust a company like Tencent, you're gambling with your data — and they won't lift a finger until a PR crisis forces them to.
I accidentally posted it twice
Tencent resolved the privacy issue that Charityhost couldn't see due to certain technical reasons.
0.5 TB is this a joke or something bruh
Tencent Cloud permanently deleted a large customer's service due to $0.30 overdue bill.
When the story went viral, Tencent Cloud restored data that is supposedly "permanently deleted", which means they didn't actually erase the data.

@TencentLighthouse what payment methods are available?
I assume cryptocurrency is out of question...
jakarta and singapore please.
Okay, guys, first of all, be kind and be resonable, we NEED more proper providers joining this place
You can't blame LET owners/staff for accepting shady providers and giving them tags and expect the larger providers to stay throwing mud all over their threads
Hetzner has turned to shit, they were once the cool kids in town, and now they're treating LET like they would a newsletter because they simply don't care anymore
OVH has increased their presence somewhat I think but it's still minimal as fuck
We need companies like this to make offers, and yes, maybe Tencent isn't an optimal cloud to use for your personal data, but I'm not convinced Microsoft is any better at all
Now, @TencentLighthouse - bring something EXCLUSIVE to LET to establish your presence, make it recurring and maybe limit stock to something that'll last for 24-48 hours, to make sure all of the most active members may get a piece, 6-7USD/yr range with it being recurring, it's not like your company can't afford losing some money on a few introductionary plans in order to establish a proper presence
what will be the recurring price (without discount)? please let us know.
This is ClawCloud right?
This is real Tencent or just bootleg ?
0.5TB BW can we chinese optimize line so its kinda understandable
I am going to bet there wouldn't be any LET Exclusive recurring discount that's like $7/yr, happy to be proven wrong though.
So...it would be 7$/year right?

Thank you for your comment and feedback. This is our very first post on LET, and we genuinely appreciate hearing from the community. We're here to listen, learn, and improve — and we respect everyone's opinions, whether they're praise or criticism.
We will be working on LET-exclusive offers, which might include special coupons and higher-bandwidth servers. However, we kindly ask for a bit of patience as we finalize the structure and rules of the event to ensure it’s beneficial to LET users only. The exclusive event will be more time-sensitive and limited in scope, so this might be a good chance to grab something now if you are interested.
Stay tuned for more updates!
Pakistan as a region when? :P
Let's start with 5TB/month plan and go from there. Otherwise basic specs are fine.
