It could be located in Iran, but uses a tunnel to access the internet via Frankfurt, so pretty useless if you want low latency to Iran.

I want it as a probe for globalping

@zGato has tried, but told me the pricing was insane or required KYC. (For Iran)

According to ping-admin .com/tm the IP address 193.142.30. 13 is registered to the Pars Online data center. The server is provided by ExServers, which offers dedicated servers in Iran, Lebanon, and other countries.
After checking the latency and running MTR tests, it seems Pars Online servers are physically located in Iran, while the 193.142.30.x range is located somewhere in Europe.

So they are tunneling their traffic from iran to europe but servers are located in iran?

Set up a light weight proxy and while using the IP, check the following link for various metrics (their servers are located in Iran)

@oloke said: I don't get why someone decides to fake IP location. What's the benefit?

Mask the physical location of a server.
Hard to send a ddr notice if the Iranians don't give a shit about it and you can't figure what DC the server is in let alone the actual country

They did a really good job of disguising the true location. If it's not located in Iran, would Iran not just update the leased/spoofed ips in the databases at ripe,...?

We need @CharityHost_org to sniff the real location

Every so called bulletproof hoster is interested in faking their locations or VPN providers.

  • Is possible to do such a thing without leasing ip?

yes, it is in Iran. They are tunneling through Germany.
They do it in Lebanon too, after previous issues with authorities.

  • offline. maybe in war with god, at the moment.
