Reliable provider with infra @Utah?
Heya!
Do you know any reliable provider (preferably that you tested/worked with) that has infra in Utah (or immediate vicinity) ?
I would like someone who has its own infra, not colo/reselling.
Feel free to DM if you don't want to mention here.
Thanks for your recommendations!
PS: No fiberstate please. Looking to migrate from them.

WebNX has their own infra in Utah too. I’ve used them and they are pretty good!
Happen to know if they do BYOIP and/or BGP ?
Yeah I believe they do both. They are very professional.
May I ask, why are you migrating from fiber state?
I simply can not trust them anymore with the integrity and privacy of our and our client's data (as per our standards).
Otherwise, awesome performance for the services.
@GorillaServers, maybe?
Ok, thats seems serious about integrity and privacy of your data. Seems like some one from their company was copying your clients data? Not sure, but if there is something that you have encountered, please do share. We also have alot of servers with them, and I guess I won't like surprises either.
That'd be a reason to sue. So, not so bad, but still bad enough for me wanting to stop the relationship.
We do indeed have a large presence in Ogden, Utah and are happy to help with anything you might need.
DM Sent.
We have a full rack at @fiberstate and we've never had a problem with that. They help us when we need it. Could you give us more information about the problem you had?
Well... I have not created this thread to throw mud. I was really happy with the services & support until today too.
If they want to disclose that for you, I have nothing against it.
Again, superb performance for the service.
But now, I am just looking to migrate away.
@fiberstate you have a disappointed customer. Any idea if there was some sort of misunderstanding or something?
@Andreix I have used webnx before. They are trustable but my bad luck was that they had a fire in their DC but it didn't affected me. But overall they are solid and reputable.
Well... majeure force events are understandable. After all, we shall have backups of our backups.
Yes understandable. I guess there are 3 players in that region for now, fiberstate, gorilla servers and webnx. The rest would be resellers mostly. Good luck with your provider hunt
Got some deals in DM (some were not really in UT - but thempting AF). Can say @GorillaServers has made me a crazy tempting deal.
If you don't need the DDoS protection, WebNX is ran by good people. I've only used for basic stuff in the past since the location isn't something I need/want, but they're really one of the few companies with people I've been able to talk to that actually talk to you like a real person, even without spending thousands or anything with them. The personable approach by itself always makes me more up to use companies. Same for GorillaServers, I think in the past I've talked to the same people there. They've been around for ages and will continue to.
Well, well, well... after this topic someone @FS reached to me and acknowledged the fault and actually apologized for it (highly appreciated).
Apparently my issue originated from a new tech guy not familiar to security best practices and/or FS procedures.
We managed to get a written guarantee that today's situation won't ever happen again (and I also got a little gift from FS as a way to say "sorry") and decided to give them a second (and last) chance to prove they are trustworthy and my issue was an isolated incident.
Hope they won't disappoint me again, as I really like their service performance (... and equally hate migrations).
Will keep you posted!
Great, good its sorted out for you @Andreix
Unfortunately I have to re-open this request.
2x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v4 @ 2.40GHz (or better)
256 GB RAM DDR4
8x 2 TB SSD
10G Uplink 160TB+ traffic
IPMI Access
I am open to other locations in US as well as EU.
Thanks in advance for all offers!
@1gservers @PureVoltage
Thanks for the mention. We're located in Phoenix, and are not resellers. We operate our own network, own 100% of our hardware and are located in our own private suites that only we have access to.
I would check out our current offers, and feel free to DM with any questions:

We can do something for you in NYC or Seattle.
Hello,
I can certainly help out in Sofia, if EU is an option.
@fiberstate
Our deal still stands
Let us know.
Op has been upgraded to a different server solution better fitted to their needs.
Ooh
That's alarming. Care to shed some light via dm if not possible to post here on why trust/ integrity is scarce with fiberstate?
Indeed. Last issue with FS was a storage subsystem issue, apparently something related to either MB or PERC controller (as per our examination), since individual disks were swapped, yet the issue persisted.
Big thanks to @fiberstate for how they handled the issue. Really open and helpful.
If you haven't, you should try out their services.
However, I am still looking for similar specs in other locations, but can't really edit the title, so it remained Utah... Sorry.
Will try to DM all of you who replied today!
@GorillaServers as the issue with FS was resolved, I kinda rule out Utah now. But I really appreciate your time and offer. An unbelievable deal indeed.
