HostHatch 1 TB Storage Sweden Transfer

I picked up a storage server much closer to me (Chicago) from the recent 14th anniversary flash deal and it was delivered this morning, so I no longer need this Sweden storage server. Since HostHatch rarely offers these small storage servers, I figure someone else can make good use of it.

Disk size: 1 TB
Renewal price: $60/3 years ($20/yr or $1.67/mo/TB)
Renewal date: Jan 8 2028 (about 2.75 years remaining)

Asking price: $70 USD (renewal fee + $10 transfer fee), or propose your own counteroffer.
I'm looking to recoup what I paid to HH (not to make a profit).

Payment method: PayPal Friends & Family (not G&S, or I will refund minus the fees)
Alternatively I'll accept an Amazon USA gift card for +$5 more (e.g. $75 Amazon gift card) if you cannot use PayPal.

First come first served, though the highest offer (up to $75 max) will be given the server. Members with some posting history will be given priority over new (< 3 mo) accounts.

Leave a comment here and send me a PM if you are interested. Today is a workday so I may be slow to respond.

VPS specs:

  • vCPU: 1
  • Disk: 1 TB HDD (no NVME boot disk, but may be upgraded by HH in the future)
  • RAM: 1 GB
  • Network: 10 TB bandwidth @ 10 Gbps
  • Location: Stockholm

I agree, but it's pretty low with all of HH's storage servers. I haven't had a chance to run YABS on my new Chicago server, but here's a YABS from a 1 TB server from the recent flash sale:

Same ballpark. I think the CPU is just very oversold since it's storage and not compute.

  • Again to reiterate, if anyone is interested but thinks $70 is too high, feel free to propose your own price. This transfer will remain open until whenever someone claims it (or I will let it expire in 3 years).

If nobody wants it, I’ll take it for $30 ($20 + transfer fee). Bit of a low-ball but it’s better to put it to use rather than leave it idle. 😅

So I suppose it is an auction? Then my bid is 45 USD.

Not exactly but basically wanted to be clear that I'm flexible on the price, i.e. it's not a "take it or leave it" sale.

I can do $45. If you want it at that price, send me a DM. Thanks!

A little low for me, but if nobody else takes it and I have no repurpose for it, I'll consider selling it to you at that price. Thanks for your comment!

Yeah, my PayPal doesn't support Families and Friends, so I guess OP will be glad to take your offer.

  • Thank everyone for all the offers! I received a $55 bid from @hcj via PP Friends & Family, so the server is now gone. Thank you @hcj for the extremely smooth transaction!

    Mods please close this thread.
