My Night With Ponies

- Go to bed at 11:30pm
- spend an hour thinking how I could rearrange my buyvm VPSes once I get a new 512/1024 OvZ
- fall asleep
- get text at 4am from at(1) job on one of my buyvm VPSes telling me it's time to buy more buyvm VPSes
- stumble into bathroom and sit on john with iPad so I don't wake wife up
- realize this is pretty similar to what I'd do if I was a secret heroin addict
- only KVM is available
- curse
- flush
- go back to bed and peek at phone periodically
- get up at 4:15am when OvZ is available
- WHMCS is down
- curse
- try again
- lather rinse repeat
- success!
- forget Stallion panel password
- download and install PasswordSafe app so I can look it up on my iPad from Dropbox without having to go downstairs
- complete and pay
- well, while I'm up, setup DNS entry for new host
- and well, while I'm up, reinstall to the OS I want
- and well, while I'm up, start an scp job to move some stuff over
- and well, while I'm up...oh crap it's 5:30am
- "are you feeling OK? you were in there a looooong time"
- fall asleep thinking that another 128 could be mighty handy...
@Francisco, @Aldyric thanks for an entertaining addication. BTW, you should make cedr do all stock releases. He has the gift for being a buyvm stock release IRC MC.

Hehe.. I remember when the first time I ordered VPS from BVM..
Lol nice, ordered my first one while we were camping so i was in a field with only my phone and a crappy GPRS connection coz there was no 3G or wifi. Took FOREVER!

When I got my first BuyVM server people were still a little weary about them. No late night orders. I just walked in.
WHY YOU SO MAD?
My buyvm box was my first ever VPS.
I knew practically nothing about them..
Found out about buyvm on wht, had a look and flicked through the packages, wanting a 256/512 box..
ended up finding the only one with stock was the 512/1024 ovz so I bought it.
Was my first visit to a vps site, so bagging that box was probably pretty lucky.. I say it's fate, I've always liked ponies
I can recall that at WHT, some feedback as well that turned to be not true (usually the opposite happens especialy in this market:p)! their prices looked just like a scam in comparison to budget providers! I can only say that they are honest.
@liamwithers you were lucky. My first vpses were VPSlink and ThrustVPS >:-(

When i wrote all OVZ plans were in stock. Now only OVZ-2048 is left.
Yep, noone bought the 2048's olololol.
They sell nearly at 1 vps (vserver per second)
Actually if you go to http://doesbuyvmhavestock.com you can see exactly when each one sold out - by looking at the "Last Update" column
I managed to get one of the OVZ 128's.
Unfortunatelly, I was in a meeting. But one day will manage
