Need 6 Servers - for Cluster Setup
Hello everyone!
We’re planning to set up a cluster with 6 dedicated servers and are looking for the following setup:
Internal Network: Each server should have a 1 Gbps internal port to ensure fast and efficient communication within the cluster.
Internet Bandwidth: We require a total of 1 Gbps internet bandwidth for the public-facing servers — whether shared or dedicated, please offer the best option available.
Public IPs: Each server should have a public IP assigned during the initial setup. These IPs will be blocked from external access after the setup is completed.
Storage Requirements: One server will be used to host shared files via NFS, and it should include a 1 TB SSD setup (preferably 480 GB x 2 in RAID or equivalent). For the remaining 5 servers, you can decide the RAM and storage configurations based on what fits best within our use case and budget.
Server Preference: We’re open to E3 or E5 servers, whether older or newer models — whichever offers the best value and reliability.
Location Preference: We prefer servers located in Europe or Asia.
Budget: Our total monthly budget for all 6 servers is €200 or USD 227.

I hope you read my post carefully. I clearly mentioned that I'm okay with older servers, so I don't think I'm expecting too much just for asking a reasonable price.

I think he's more so bringing up that $37 per server isn't a very good budget.
With some older hardware you might find someone with some older E3's you could link up together.
Personally I'd say if you could increase the budget a little bit that would help. Maybe someone has some free nodes on a microcloud setup for you.
Is there someplace specific you are looking for as Asia you will not find this pricing. Europe would be a lot easier and the US you might find more budget providers.
@Mevspace these guys has very cheap dedis. Check their outlet line. Not sure if they can fullify your requirements though.

With that budget, you may be better served with multiple higher end VPS's (and get better overall performance) as the budget listed for 6 dedicated servers is too low.
