    Sustainable is based on the asking price. 6 TB for €75 would be on par with 2 TB for €24, except you don’t need to allocate as much vCPU, RAM, or IPv4’s per TB that Flash-1 did.

    That’s how I see it anyway.

    If provider is losing X amount of money from 2 TB deal, then they would lose 3X amount of money if they keep the same price / TB ratio. Or something like that.

    Not necessarily. If they keep the same 2 VCPU, 2 GB RAM, 20 TB bandwidth, and 1 IPv4, then they should be making more money because the price has scaled yet these remain the same.

    The cost isn’t entirely the storage. All that other stuff is a fixed cost, which makes smaller storage plans more expensive for providers. At least, this is why HostHatch doesn’t offer small storage deals that often anymore.

    Moreover, these are flash deals so these are very limited. So let's say there will be some 20-25 odd units. It can be taken as investment (rather than losing money) to get more exposure and bring capital in short term for short term goals while regular packages sustain the normal business.

    I won't derail @labze's thread nor ruin his Sunday.

    I will keep it short. Whole LET is aware of you, which includes multiple warnings you got from mods, certain users refusing to answer or quote your messages, and mentioning this openly.

    Back to the topic, I love dirt cheap deals, but also we should keep in mind that if provider has too many unsustainable deals, then they won't survive for long. Then our servers won't mean anything once they are out of business.

    I am looking forward to future deals and once again thanks @labze for the flash storage deal <3

    Whole LET is aware with wharever thing that is you attribute with me.... That's fine. But what that has got to do with in this thread where you need to swoop in and start posting judgemental post which no one was asking in the first place and derail it for no reason.

    There was a legendary 10 TB storage VPS offered for €100 at one point, though I would say even €120 is a great price for 10 TB.

    Regarding the storage deals, I hope labze is merely filling up excess idling capacity with them (capacity that was already there but wasn’t generating revenue). I definitely don’t want him to buy new hardware just to sell them at a loss. Hopefully it’s mainly to eek out some more euros out of what he already has running.
