Anyone won a prize for the sys series of servers?

  • Anyone of you gents up for a trade? Looking for something cheaper. I currently have a KS-Mystery 1650 V4 128GB 2x450GB NVME in RBX (EU Account -> 28€/month with German VAT). Looking for something cheaper as I dont really have a use for this machine. Preferably something with Gbit up and down. CPU / RAM does not matter (Must be EU account). If I dont find anything nice to trade I will give it away (please dont flood my inbox yet)

I have a KS-C in my account. I bought it and got it delivered on April 4th, to see what they were like.

The SSD was super old, so I cancelled the order and got a refund.

But the server has never been suspended, and I still have access. The next due date is 5 april 2025.

Do I have a free forever Kimsufi?

and then they charge you with $2k bill. :D

Yes, mentioned previously, until the end of the month.

Probably the network capacity is cheaper for OVH than in previous, they had a high amount of maintenances in the near past.

However on the old Kimsufi servers the 300 Mbps and gigabit UP over lottery IPv6 might be too mutch, my friends and I have a few of them (LE-1, e3-1245 v2) and the network speed very various. On the 2022 range I got 100 Mbps up on IPv4 and gigabit over IPv6 and I always got the maximum port speed, download 940 Mbps on both and 920 upload on IPv6. When they started the LE-1 offer in November with 300 Mbps the network performance was degraded and I can download between 300--800 Mbps and upload on IPv6 not capped to 300 Mbps but I very rare reach more than 450--500 Mbps. Probably the newer servers capable for higher BW but I don't think that they improve the older racks. I'm afraid that these servers might be forced to cancel or replace in the next yrs as they placed in the old places in RBX and GRA.

So it is my own opinion: Always make backups and create a plan if the older servers more than idlers as OVH will not use these machines forever.

I don't support scalping but in this case nearly everyone had a chance to buy servers on the 1st and if you missed your chance then you got to pay the extra tax to get a lottery server.

E-2288G/128/2x2TB NVMe retails for $191 on the website ($137 with the 1GE discount) and if you're expecting people to transfer that server for $50 while staying within the forum rules, I gotta say you're a bit deluded man.

Then you shud get it, it's against forum rule , it's against morality , and if no one buys it then scalper definitely sell it at reasonable price ,

At first I thought you were just deluded and out of touch with the market, but now I'm starting to question your intelligence as well. Maybe you'll find your twin on here who'll sell you a E-2288G or Epyc mystery server for under €50.
