    @labze

    Order #680117f85959c

5x traffic volume please (bandwith is perfectly fine with 10 Gb/s for me *g)

Can labze or HostBrr customers (of this deal) please kindly tell me an ETA guess, how long does a new VPS take to be activated? Thanks.

I took 2 of them, one of them was activated in 3-4 hours, the other took a solid one day.

My three orders (not from this offer, though) were activated instantly, or something close to that. Maybe you seems suspicious, who would mind them... and it might take a bit longer.

Thank you! Mine in fact was activated within 10 to 15 mins.

@labze Very positive first impression, kudos!

P.S. traffic volume not yet extended. But hey, I'm just installing and if that takes an hour or even a few that's perfectly fine with me.

  • Without a doubt the best provider here

  • What does ECO-Optimized mean? Are they tuned to run at lower speeds in order to reduce energy consumption?

So, first benchmark is done. I'm very pleased with what I see. processor (Milan 1) and memory is very decent, disk is really decent too, > 10 MB/s and > 3000 IOps in 4k/4t and network is really nice as well. All of Europe in the hundreds of Mb/s, the best even achive 2 Gb/s (within DE, FRA only) but many targets within Europe are about and some above 500 Mb/s. More impressive even are the North American targets, well above 100 Mb/s (except LAX with 75 to 80 Mb/s) and even the 2 China targets are about 40 Mb/s (+- 10% or so) and HKG even is 60 Mb/s. Ozzyland (SYD) is even above 40 Mb/s and the two african targets are about 60 Mb/s (ZA, JON) and KE, NAI is 80 Mb/s (!).

Amazing results for a low-price VPS ! Also, the panel is a pleasure to work with. Kudos, @labze!

I bought this to use as a private wireguard tunnel but only get < 30 Mb/s speed, tried a lot, now gave up. I don't know where is the problem but I suspect the network and firewall of the provider, because with the same configuration I get > 200Mb/s on hetzner.

It is a known issue and being looked into. Not quite this easy fix I'd have hoped. Two months or so ago our network was targeted by a larger carpet-bomb attack that caused temporary network instability. It was quickly resolved but it seems like the filters applied affect Wireguard connectivity specifically.

I am working with Dataforest on the issue. Mainly I am being too slow on providing the necessary information in this case. I am l finally getting some free time over the weekend so hopefully I can work with them to fully resolve this.

I tried the coupon on 8 GB ram plan and it worked.

  • dovelydovely Member

Just applied the coupon on the 16GB plan, and it worked.

@labze, it would mean a lot if you could 5x BW.

    Invoice # 62906.

Thanks for the offer - it's my first time trying you guys. The good reviews here made it easy to choose HostBrr over other providers.
