Yeah, 404 here too. I suppose that "until 15th of April" meant "until some time during the 15th of April", rather than "until the end of the 15th of April" as I hoped.

I'd like to have picked up one more VM before the sale ended, but the money only just reached my FX account. :(

    6 CPU cores (2 dedicated, 4 fair-shared cores)
    24 GB RAM
    300 GB NVMe storage
50 TB premium bandwidth in EU/US. 15TB bandwidth in APAC.
$115 per year in EU/US. $140 per year in APAC.

*This plan can be bought for monthly billing (for the cost of $10 per month for EU/US, and $14 per month for APAC). In return, we ask that you write us an honest/constructive review on TrustPilot and Google - after using the service for a few weeks. We generally find that only angry customers are motivated enough to leave reviews. To request this billing cycle: please open a ticket.

**Free upgrade on two year payments with 8 GB RAM, 100GB NVMe and 25TB bandwidth for EU/US locations only

Can the CPU of this server be used at 70% for a long time after 2 years? I want to place an order@hosthatch

  • I would like to ask if it is okay if the CPU usage is maintained at around 65%?

On which deal? The usage allowed is marked for NVMe deals and storage deals are fair use, so you will only find out over time.

  • Can't get IPv6 to work on NVME 24G LA as well.

  • Any people setting up NC on Storage VPS ?

Have setup one for a client implementation. If the volume of small files is not too much it works good. Else NC by itself is a bloat I feel

    NVMe 24GB plan:
    6 CPU cores (2 dedicated, 4 fair-shared cores)

For 65% constant usage you would need 4 dedicated cores instead of 2

It should have been fixed now, if not, open a ticket to ask for help.

  • Submitted a ticket and support got IPv6 working on my LA VPS. Also have not experienced any more speedtest null-routing, must have been a fluke.

I have (and want) to apologize to @hosthatch.

Reason: the problem (could not create a ticket) was on my side, not their's. The cause was a not very commonly used browser. I tried it again with a widely and commonly used "standard" browser and with that it did work fine.

    My fault, again, apologies, hosthatch!

IMO it should go without saying that if something like this happens one does (IMO has to) apologize, especially if what one said could be (and I guess, was) mistaken as putting @hosthatch into a bad light; that wasn't my intention at all, in fact I'm a very happy hosthatch customer since years (and said so publicly multiple times).

Yes, I confess it, I'm an occasionally adventurous and naughty person, even daring to not like global adspammers nor woke Firefoxes (who fired a whole lot of developers but seem to go into adspamming too, now ...).

To save you to do the needful, I'll quickly slap my own hand ;)

That makes no sense. Not only are they unrelated, but everyone here knew the issue was on the client side, not server but jsg. The lack of very basic troubleshooting but quick to blame HH with absolutely no useful reproduction steps and even now, refuses to share the weird ass browser, is consistent with him reporting having to contact support but not saying why in his "benchmarks".

I plan to put up a Sweden 1 TB flash sale for service transfer once the Chicago server is delivered (I needed a location change). Same renewal price ($60/3 years) though it doesn’t have the OS boot drive (still pending that upgrade from HH).
