Hi! To receive a $3 bonus, you need to deposit $10 into your account after the promotion has started.
Hello! We don't have Windows ISO yet.
Done! Thank you!
Hi! You used the promo code LETFT6, so I gave you part of the $3 bonus.
Hello!
I've topped up your account. Please check!
getting 50mbit/s on shared 10gbit/s now and ping (bufferbloat i guess) is going crazy up to 500ms when downloading at max speed. also my old server with limited traffic bugged and im getting 3gbit/s when it's supposed to work at 50mbit/s max
Hello! It's very unusual for your speed to be just 50 Mbit/s on a shared 10 Gbit/s connection. This could happen for one of two reasons: either you're on a burstable plan and experienced CPU throttling (which would increase ping and reduce speed), or you recently changed your network plan (in which case the new speed should take effect within 24 hours).
Of course, there could be other causes as well. To know for sure, you'll need to create a ticket. Have you already done that? If so, please share your ticket number so I can check and ensure that technical support is handling your issue properly.
yeah, both servers are on burstable-1, but have different network plans: first is on free 0.5tb 50mbit/s, second is on shared unlim 10gbit/s.
First server reports 800 events in
while true; do sh -c "sysbench cpu run | grep 'events per second'"; doneand doesn't get throttled after running sysbench 50 times. network speed is also not limited to 50mbit/s, i get 2gbit/s download right now.
Second server reports 80 events in the same test and that's indeed the reason of high ping and low speed.
Seems like your system has failed and my first server doesn't get any restrictions.
And is the second server working as expected? if so, then real cpu speed (10%) should be revealed on the website, im going to delete it because that's unusable for my case.
I'm looking for a VPS/VDS that I can stream 24/7 using ffmpeg. Your name is HostVDS, but I can't seem to find anything about CPU usage.
Would my use case work with your offerings (cpu expectation-wise, I mean)?
You can select the High Load plans for 24/7 100% CPU usage AFAIK

That has much bigger everything. They all say "Cloud VDS" plans.
in my previous comment i tested that "burstable-1" only has 10% of the cpu (80 events in sysbench, highload-1 has 100% or 800 events)
Hi! Here’s the info you need.
In short, the HighLoad plan should suit you, as these plans offer 100% CPU allocation.
Hello! Done! Thank you
Yes, it looks like the system had a bug, and you were allocated more resources than intended. Well, lucky you! 😄 Enjoy it while it lasts.
If you urgently need to reduce capacity, just let me know—I’ll help you out! 😄
So your plans that call themselves "Cloud VDS Plans" are not really VDS, and the "HighLoad" plans are 5x more expensive. I'll pass.
Sorry to hear our Burstable servers didn't work out for your needs!
Honestly, there’s hardly any difference between VPS and VDS these days—most hosting providers use the terms interchangeably. Some claim VDS means stronger isolation or a dedicated CPU, while VPS implies shared resources, but it all depends on the provider. There’s no strict industry standard.
