I'd like to see lifetime deals but as in the price remains for the lifetime of your account, not one time cost - the latter are deals I wouldn't trust because it's unsustainable.

Yes - I think a discount that renews is definitely great. Now and then you see lifetime deals like pay $48 and get hosting for your lifetime, and that just seems like a scam. There's no way a company can stay in business for the next 20 years providing hosting for eternity like that.
