With our custom-built panel, we’ve taken several important steps to improve customer security. Even in the unlikely event of a vulnerability in a third-party library we use, all servers remain secure.
For example, reinstalling a VM requires a valid 2FA code. The panel itself never has access to the 2FA secret, so even if someone were to gain access to the backend of the panel, they wouldn't be able to reinstall or compromise the server without that second factor.
That’s just one of the security measures we’ve implemented to ensure that our clients’ data stays safe.
I'd like to unstack it even further if possible.
1 vCPU 1 vCPU because 0.5 vCPU doesn't exist
2GB RAM 1GB RAM
16.6GB KIOXIA NVMe 10GB KIOXIA NVMe because it's a nicer number
for €0.88
A 50 GB disk upgrade is available for €1.50 (net) / 1.79€ (19% VAT) per month.
We’re currently working on a self-service upgrade feature within the panel.
In the meantime, feel free to request an upgrade via support ticket, and we’ll handle it for you manually.
Also your IPv4 is randomly shared with 5 other unstacked customers.
How do you safely retire an old or broken SSD if it's not encrypted?
We use KIOXIA NVMes, to be exact its mostly KCD8XRUG7T68, which includes the SIE feature.
I just got your launch promo, and this CPU is amazing. I hope you keep making money and stay honest.
Ugh,ddr tag ignored.
can you post a picture of what the germans eat
differs between north and south germany. @ComputeBox is located in the (far) north.
Ordered a promo box, runs fine so far.
@hyperblast I guess https://www.emder-matjesversand.de/de/Matjesspezialitaeten/Emder-Raeuchermatjesfilets/
@ComputeBox is underrated. Performance is top notch so far
Is Custom ISO ready for use now?
Agreed! The current Bandwidth amount is off-putting.
sadge, didn't visit LET prior easter, look what I've missed.
We’re hoping to launch VNC access this week. Along with VNC, we’ll also provide a Netboot ISO option.
A fully integrated custom ISO upload feature is also in the works and will be released by the end of the month as part of a broader overhaul of our template system.
This won’t be our last deal
We hope to expand the included bandwidth in the future.
Since we have direct peering with major carriers like Telekom and Vodafone, our overall traffic costs are a bit higher — which is why we currently have more conservative bandwidth limits.
Your network is premium for sure. My connection is routed over he.net, never saw that before with any provider.
Very satisfied with your product. The launch promo is one of the most high performing vps I have tried till now at that price range. Only issue I am facing is limitation by 50 GB storage. If I could increase the space, It will be perfect.
Yes can I increase too. @Flint
Me,too!
You can always request a storage upgrade via a support ticket.
Our current pricing is €1.50 (net) per 50 GB.
We’re also working on a self-service upgrade feature, which will be available soon.
Why didn't you mention it before!
Raising a ticket right away!

wow!
competitor calls this:
and for nvme:
Who is this competitor?
But what performance do these NVMEs have?
We’ve chosen KIOXIA enterprise-grade NVMe drives, costing over €1000 for 7.68TB.
Can we offer the absolute lowest prices with hardware like that? No.
But we can proudly say we’re using top-of-the-line components — because performance and reliability matter.
We’re not aiming to be the cheapest hoster, but rather a professional one that values quality over corners cut.
Can you add rescale option? So user can adjust cpu or ram by itself, also please add hourly rate if possible
the renowned and universally praised company: Layer7
What's the big game here? Under another provider's thread, you talked shit about their server because computebox's GB6 results were better. And now under computebox you are talking shit about their disk pricing because Layer7 has better disk prices.
Did you actually see the disk speeds of Layer7 that you can claim it's good as computebox's then saying theirs is cheaper?
Just stop shitting under providers' threads and use whatever you think is the best and cheapest for you.
Competitor?
