good news. joined waiting list. thx

  • Can you use your own domain with them?

  • Imho they're too late to the party. Should've had bigger impact if they did that 5-10 years ago when gmail is still young. Instead mozilla opted to take google $$ in exchange for having gsearch as default in firefox, pay their ceo exorbitantly, proceed to waste the $$ on doa projects like firefoxos and when google can't pay them anymore due to antitrust, they're now trying to enter gmail home turf. The fck they're thinking with those questional move.

Yes it's mentioned in the blog.

I'm not sure why they're even bothering at this point but sure I'll try out another free mail provider. I don't see any reason to use another /paid/ mail provider though, I'm good with jarmail so far.

  • The Why for offering these services is simple. Thunderbird loses users each day to rich ecosystems that are both products and services, such as Gmail and Office365.

And then those "rich ecosystems" and "suites" lose users to https://www.mxroute.com/ B)

"Operated by MZLA Technologies Corporation, a subsidiary of the Mozilla Foundation.."
