Leaseweb verification system is a joke

Decided to try out Leaseweb as company (B2B). I knew that they had KYC verification process and didn't expect that this will cause any issue, oh boy I was wrong. If you ever want to purchase anything from Leasweb first do the verification, but better to skip this shitty provider altogether.

They ask way too much information. The funniest one is the social media persistence. Also they don't provide any way to share this information in secure way and encrypted way, but whatever.

All of the requested documents got shared and they still rejected it, lmao. Saying that they cannot verify the docs. Asked them what exactly they failed to verify = no response.

If it ended here I would not create this topic and forget about this shit provider. However we purchased service from them and they also refunded the payment, but did not provide any invoices.

In the country there our company is based we are required to attach invoices for every payment and refund we get on our bank account. However Leaseweb gave zero fucks and still haven't provided any invoices after many tickets + calls to their support.

This could pass under radar if the amount was small, but unfortunately it is not. I fucking hate this type of companies. So the next step is probably going to take it with Netherlands Tax authorities and try to push this fuckers to provide me the needed invoices.

Rant over. Don't buy anything directly from fucking Leasweb as business.

P.S Fucking golden, how they manage to stay in business https://www.trustpilot.com/review/leaseweb.com

LW is decent and polite provider. Can’t say nothing bad about them. Best of luck with your new provider…

  • I send d1ck pic to any provider asking for kyc.
I suggest anyone should do the same.

Well my experience was pretty good, my registration certificate which i believe isn't globally accepted worked with lsw along with my LinkedIn page which was last active in 2016. I always complete my kyc before placing any big order. Can't you just charge back and move on? I know lsw is terribly slow with support requests.

I tried it 3 years ago. The initial chat with CS was smooth and only took a few minutes, but when my document was rejected and I asked for a refund, it took about 1 day to get a reply from them.
Oh well, the important thing is that my money is back.

Trustpilot to the rescue. 2.1 for now - but how much lower will it go if they don't fix their service? 🤔

  • On this point, they just didn't want you as their part of their business.
Also their tend to increase price more and more for couple years, and their VPS was unstable evevn on point for VPN Usage. Its hard recommended and using them as your next projects, if you consider only need get juicy 20+ TB Asia BW, you could consider HostDZire which let you pass any hassle verification.

Never give personal information to anyone online who you don't see. They are mostly scammers who leak and trade your personal data.

Only if it comes with a ruler and a notarized statement of confidence. 😉

I heard those can be faked with photoshop rather easily. The ruler can be added later to the picture without raising much suspicion. Not to mention the new AI generated KYC dick picks which are quite convincing.
We need better KYD (Know Your Dick) procedures in place!

I've had companies (usually smaller and more niche) perform checks not that dissimilar before.

One even asked for a scan of my business cards, lmao. I think this goes beyond normal KYC, but as always every business is entitled to choose their customers.

  • I will not attempt services that require KYC unless legally required.

I had a bad experience with Leasweb ten years ago, so I have never used their services and products since then. :'(

Yes. Usually girth matters more and also head diameter plays a role.

I highly doubt it since our competitors are using Leaseweb as well. I think the rep who does the verification gives zero fucks and does as little as possible.

Is your competitors have same country as yours?
For me even I send my business document they always reject and tell "cant confirm" as your mention. But other hand my client have business located on USA just got smoothly process :(

Even I got chance try their VPS lineup, I got another-yet problem like hiccup and "I/O timeout" for first 3 months, and send out my client to another provider.

Didnt know this the case anymore, I tried it on last year, and any hassle more on this point I just think their not even consider serious or jokingly selling product.
