If you want to select between OVH location GRA or SBG which will be one?

There was recently a spring sale of Rise-LE-GAME and i hope you guys have got one for yourself. which location would be good if you had to select GRA or SBG?

Please give a reason why did you select that .

    It depends on your location. In my experience for old range (KS-LE-1 with 1245 v2) GRA is better than RBX (hmm, RBX is not in your list). GRA has better network connectivity on that servers which matter when you win lottery with 1 Gbps full duplex on IPv6 (every 2nd--3rd server).

    For modern range I don't think that DC quality can be different so decide the location by the latency and probability for lottery.

    Especialy for your two DCs. From central-eastern Europe location (Hungary) SBG has better latency, in average 3--8 ms. However in the past (until Q4 2024 if I remembered well) a high number of Hungarian ranges was routed over Amsterdam by OVH, that caused a higher latency to SBG than GRA.
    Now SBG and GRA routed over Vien, Frankfurt too so both are good selection. I might decide on the probability and experiences of lottery. And usualy limited edition machines available in GRA and not available in SBG as SBG smaller than GRA and GRA smaller than RBX. This difference on size causes too that in RBX the infrastructure usualy older than in GRA on older ranges.

    So in my opinion GRA and SBG are good, decide on your network capabilities.

    Depends, for UK, GRA is best, for NL sure, but if you for example connect from PL its LIM.
    I didn't test India though.

    If you do check-host the gra proof ip you will see india mumbia has 117 ms ping
