cpanel login error

We are experiencing the issue while trying to login /cPanel
lscgid: execve():/usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/redirect.cgi: Permission denied

When we open directly via WHM
`Internal Server Error
500

Internal Error (ID 469406345234351)
cpsrvd Server at `

Is there any cPanel admin who can help us to sort out the issue.

Comments

  • I think the issue is due to incorrect permissions on redirect.cgi, causing cPanel and WHM login failures. Fix involves correcting file permissions, restarting services, and possibly updating cPanel via SSH.

  • did u check if SELinux is the problem? sometimes if it enabled, it might be the cause.

    Is your cpanel license a legit one or a shared license?

    Hi, very stupid suggestion but have you started by rebooting the box? Do you have enough disk space? Also, are you trying to login as root or as a user? Does login as another work?
