$2 for that is overpriced
What’s going on here? Are people playing pranks, or are they just not thinking straight? Or maybe it's me? I keep seeing VPS requests for $0.00/year, $1.21/year, and $2.00/year—seriously?
Why not just use free services like DigitalOcean or AWS, which offer trials with credit/debit card linking?
From electricity, IP, labor to hardware costs! At $2 per year, merchants will face bankruptcy
I'm sorry if this post affected you. I'm still a student, I don't have a credit card, and I'm on a budget, so I'm just trying to learn
Oracle might fit the bill also.
But can’t imagine anyone’s going out of their way to offer anything here.
Microsoft Azure offers free credit for students. If you want VPS for your academic project, I can give you free.
Tired of seeing these stupid thread.
Enough is Enough.
You can't really get a paid VPS with good specs and uptime for $2, $10 annually is a minimum. But, you can get a few free VPSs with Oracle Cloud, you need a credit card to register, and then you get $300 credit for 30 days, and up to 4 free VPSs (2 realistically because of high demand for Ampere). Each VPS gets dedicated IPv4 and IPv6, and 10TB egress per month shared across your services. You get 200GB storage to share across all your VPSs for free, so you can make each one have 100GB
