I was thinking of consolidating, but why is it so hard trying to part ways with premium idlers…?

Well, its a good deal, later you may need it, right? right?

    Yes.
It's preparing for the next big project. Idling

So many shady deals have happened via dms... if they are reviewed, sure there may be bans. But otherwise nothing will happen

I flagged a few posts and the users are still alive, so there's that

I also got dms, how could I report them, asking 150$ in dms

Same but I started to migrate my stuff.

I now have dozens of idle VPS that I paid yearly ...

We'll see if I can buy less next year.
Probably not, because that's what I told myself last year :s

Same, slowly moving stuff to this one.

Use them for VPN or different stuff, different websites, maybe a VPN etc..
I use mine mainly for a VPN mesh network so.

We'll see if I can buy less next year.
Probably not, because that's what I told myself last year :s

    I wish, maybe one day.

    You've decided to keep 2, that's worse!
I don't have enough things to host, knowing that this one is powerful enough to handle the entire load...

But yes, a mesh network could be fun. If I had vps at more interesting locations.

What do you suggest? let them go?
I am trying hard to not buy more VPS's and so far its going well.

You know that you can ask for refund right? IF you really want to get rid of it.

    Hi,
When mystery was released i bought one from api, it was 64g so I asked for a refund and instantly received a paypal notification.
Afterward I changed my mind thinking if i wasn't able to get 128g it would be better than nothing so I canceled that refund request..
Finally i've got a 128g so i'm willing to cancel that 64g one but there are no more button to do it.

I contacted support 2 days ago and no reply.

In my French account if I cancel an order and then cancel the cancellation (for instance to get rid of the setup fee), then the button to cancel the order is gone. I've never had a use case for that though.

This is going to be my problem too. I'm going to be slowly moving things from my GAME-LE and some from my KS-LE-A but after that I have raw storage dedi and a big compute dedi... that has half the storage but on NVMe and 128GB of RAM...

The fuck am I gonna do with that!?!

Does optimize my costs per month though :~)

  • I've been following this thread since last Black Friday, trying to get my hands on a KS-LE-B or E, but no luck unfortunately
I was debating whether it was worth taking a shot at the KS-Mystery lottery, and in the end, I decided to give it a go and... turned out to be a good call, I managed to get some pretty nice upgrades

    Intel E-2288G
    128GB RAM
    2x1.9TB SSD

    Intel E-2288G
    64GB RAM
    2x1.9TB SSD

    Intel Xeon E5-1650 v4
    64GB RAM
    2x1.9TB SSD + 2x4TB HDD

Honestly, I got really lucky. This is way more than I actually need, but no complaints

Also, does anyone know a simple way to set up a few VMs and use only one IPv4 address? I can’t find an easy guide and I’m not very good with networking stuff

    https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/182736/basic-setup-of-proxmox-in-an-ovh-environment-kimsufi-example-with-nat-and-ipv6-enabled-containers

This has good instructions on setting up both ipv4 & 6 for vms.

  • What are the monthly costs for those E-2288G machines with nvme? Would be interested in getting one in any of EU location.

I also got lucky — for just €23, I got:

    Intel Xeon E-2288G CPU
    128GB RAM
    2x 1.92TB NVMe SSDs
    10 Gbps network speed
    FRANCE

    For both NVMEs:
Data Units Read: 21,448,125 (≈10.9 TB)
Data Units Written: 214,150,164 (≈109 TB)

Now I’ve got a premium idler!
