    what cloudflare did to you?

Neurotic bullshit. Especially list of paid alternatives, which does not even come close to what cf offers for free.

I didn’t read it but no I don’t agree as Cloudflare has been of great help to me

Read the part about MITM and privacy, I think that might hook you in.

It's one of those cases where everything is fine until it isn't. They see passwords, emails and whatever.

Okay I didn't hook you in.

Yep, I was not aware of this until I started digging into TLS certs and realised they hold all the keys. So, I moved to paid TLS since updating free TLS on load balancer every 3 months is meh.

    No because I'm worthless.

    Hope that answers your question.

It is not about me or you, it is about CF saying they are super-duper private but have technical ability to read everything. And likely to analyze it as well.

  • The thing is, one person’s data on its own isn’t that valuable. But when you’ve got data from a lot of people, that’s when patterns start to show up, stuff that can actually give real insights and help companies make money. :)

Bingo bango bongo. You, me, every free cf user is worthless scavengers pulling filth via their network. They are like google, so big, that you drown in sea of data. One more ID number.

So it is pretty private if you don’t bother gov agencies with some shit. And in that case no privacy exists at all. Those who claim otherwise - lying openly, because on court case they will not take blame for you.

I remember reading on this guy repo (crimeflare?) where cf can do MITM and such but cf is just a reverse proxy? I used to be suspicious about cf but the only reason I'm on CF is for the free WAF/ anti-DDoS and reverse proxy. The free tier is good. I remember trying alternates like Fastly and DDoS-Guard but it doesn't compare what cloudflare offers.

    Ou you, silly silly cat…

  • Greetings, simple ones and sisters of darkness, I am surprised that you can still code with amount of tears flowing from the pits of swolleness.

Just got my phone number so I have mobile internet and cooking up a website if anyone wants to donate to the poor, Royal Family. I have to ask BO he is good with IT so you can stay sharp, cloudflare and close the case -case closed, and may have baggage so be aware simpletons.

Nah, sillycat just said the funny line, that's all. And hating on Cloudflare is way to easy since they are a monopoly.

No, of course I don't agree with the author. Cloudflare offers you a great service for absolutely free. You get free DDoS protection for your website, it prevents many bots, caches your pages, etc.
