Hmm, for me and two others who tested it, the Looking Glass is showing the correct IP.
I’ll take a closer look to see if I can reproduce the issue — or if it might be something that needs to be fixed by the developers of the Looking Glass itself.
Behind VPN I got the same result of 172.18.0.1, turning off got real IP.
Found the issue report on GitHub .
Very good. The ticket response is also very fast.Friendly panel, but I haven't figured out my ipv6 yet
When will you add other regions? I'll buy it.
Later it showed the correct IPv4. Maybe it shows the IPv4 of the reverse proxy when visiting via IPv6? I remember I had some similar issue with traefik when it was not running in host network mode.
I think there are already 3 regions: Kehrsen, Gudow and Hamburg, AS 212341 has already an IX there 😃
Our backup servers are located in a different town (Gudow), in a completely separate facility — ensuring physical separation from our main infrastructure. The Main Datacenter is Kehrsen.
While we do plan to expand to additional data center locations in the future, our current priority is building and scaling our server cluster within the CSN Solutions data center. Because of this, new DC locations are not planned until 2026.
gudow and kehrsen (not cherson) are extremely well-known localities in the north of germany.
Gudow is known for dropping packets to gmx.de:
For me its working fine:
@ComputeBox is there any limitation on cpu usage ?
For all limitations and usage restrictions related to our VPS servers, please refer to our legal page: https://computebox.de/legal
Crypto Mining / Continuous Load: The use of server hardware for cryptocurrency mining (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.) or comparable permanently resource-intensive applications is prohibited. Excessive continuous utilization of the provided resources that exceeds the contractually intended usual use and puts excessive strain on the Provider's infrastructure is also inadmissible.Today we’d love to give you a closer look under the hood of our infrastructure and the decisions we’ve made to optimize for raw performance over density.
🔧 CPU & Memory
Our host nodes are powered by EPYC TURIN 9655 processors, and paired with 12 sticks of DDR5 5600MHz RAM.
You might wonder — why 5600MHz instead of 6000MHz or even 6400MHz?
Well, it’s simple: while 6000MHz+ options exist, the cost is more than double, with diminishing returns for most real-world workloads. We’ve found 5600MHz to be the sweet spot for both performance and cost-efficiency.
We're also running dual-rank DIMMs across 12 slots to unlock the maximum bandwidth per CPU. Yes, this choice sacrifices some client density (especially compared to configurations that prioritize 24 DIMMs), but the performance gains per VM make it well worth it in our view. Going dual-rank with higher density would have dropped our effective RAM speed to 4400 or even 4000MHz.
💾 Storage
For storage, we’re running KIOXIA CD8-R NVMe drives – enterprise-class PCIe 4.0 SSDs – in a RAID 5 configuration. This ensures a balance of speed, redundancy, and storage efficiency.
🌐 Network
Each host node comes with a 2x10G LACP uplink to our core network.
Current YABS (06.04.2025) Launch Promo VPS:
Any update on bandwidth being increased to 20TB?
Turin performance is insane. It's equivalent to Ryzen 9 7950X according to the GB6 score. Wonder what Ryzen 9 11950X score would be when it's out. My guess is probably around mid 4000 to 5000.
@ComputeBox Are all your servers running the latest bios, drivers and software? If they were all updated to the latest version I think stability, performance and security would be greatly improved.
We regularly update all our host systems to ensure stability and security.
Currently, we haven’t received any complaints regarding performance or reliability, and there are no known security vulnerabilities affecting our systems.
If you experience any issues, please don’t hesitate to open a support ticket.
Rock Solid Performance.

This promo is only valid for a few more days. If you're looking for fast storage, strong CPU performance, and a modern platform at a fair price — now’s the time.
Let us know if you have any questions — and enjoy your new VPS!
@ComputeBox can I stack 2 vpses from the 5.29$/m?
We could make that work, but since it requires a bit of extra setup on our end, we’d ask for a minimum contract period of 6 months for stacked VPS instances.
If you're interested, please open a support ticket, and we’ll explain how the process works step by step.
Do you have your own data center? If yes do you offer colo?
How much extra IP address costs?
No, we don’t own the data center ourselves, but we’re closely partnered with the facility and work hand in hand on various projects.
Colocation is not available at the moment. Once the new DC building is completed, we may consider offering colocation services — but that’s still a bit further down the road.
Additional IPv4 addresses are available at €1.79 per IP, or €1.50 for non-EU customers (VAT-free).
In order to safeguard customer data, what encryption protocols are utilized, for instance, full disk encryption via LUKS?
For confirmation, if the stacked configuration, as queried by @wadhah, is selected, would the subsequent specifications be forthcoming:
but if you stack 2 vps you get 2 ips or a lower price?
Stacking (usually) just gives you one IP, you get better resources and the provider gets a free IP
The 2x stacked configuration would look like this:
- 6 vCores: AMD EPYC Turin 9655
- 12 GB RAM (DDR5, 5600 MHz)
- 100 GB KIOXIA NVMe storage
- 1x IPv4 and 1x /64 IPv6
- 4 TB monthly traffic
Like @wadhah mentioned only the main components (CPU, RAM, and storage) get stacked.
Is it possible to get the above package with 150GB SSD?
@ComputeBox can I unstack a VPS?
I'd like to purchase 1/3rd of the of the €5.29 plan for €1.76
3 vCPU 1 vCPU
