Just got an email on this.
"We want to assure you that this is not a change in ownership—Snakecraft Hosting LLC remains the same company, with the same team, and the same commitment to reliable hosting. This is simply a branding update to better reflect our mission and expertise."

Most names would be better than SnakeCraft IMO.
It's simply a rebrand to better reflect what we offer. As most have said already, this name is professional and doesn't make us sound solely like a Minecraft server host.
Yeah I prefer the new name. I don't recall hearing the old name though, looking forward to some elite $3/yr deals!
And that's precisely it! It's long, makes us sound like a Minecraft server, and simply doesn't sound very professional. I've been running Minecraft servers since ~2014 on and off. The last one was featured on Minecrafts home page. Shortly after, my business partner and friend decided we wanted to start a business and went with hosting! So thats why it was Snakecraft Hosting, just carried the name over.

Btw, IMO that new name does not sound professional, the way I see it @dustinc pretty much nailed it and RackNerd is much more credible and down to earth name than your new one.
