Had my one activated last night, ordered 2pm on the 1st. Never normally lucky but saw the 2x 2TB in the control panel and would have been happy just with that upgrade... but also got E-2288G and 10gbit dl

Those of you who got 2288g are the real fucking winners

I got one, but I see others getting it PLUS extra RAM AND/OR extra rust with AND SO I'M STILL UPSET.

Greed? FOMO? Whatever you call it, they're my feelings AND I HAVE RIGHT TO FEEL.

Any clue why Debian 12 template wasn't available on my 2288g in RBX? Many templates were absent, in fact.

thinks that make you go huh.. I got an email in the middle of the night saying my server was delivered. I was expecting to get the bottom of the barrel as I just had issues the whole way and things took forever. 1G/10G too, wtf.

I guess the YABS below would show otherwise.. I guess I'm just kinda shook? Not sure.

Intel better if you need the igpu/single, epyc if you need multicore/ram application

    Depends

Multiscore (geekbench 4) is way way better with epyc
Geekbench 6 is shitty for multicore benchmarking

But way better single core performance with xeon
More CPU cache with epyc like 4x - and more memory bandwidth

So for massive virtualization -> epyc
If you need high single core performance -> xeon

    Compared both this morning ;)

I have a question about my order or something. I created different tickets and they handled at same time saying "we will process your refund request" yesterday and today they proposed the solution as refund to card.

  • Well, the wait was well worth it. I guess I'll be keeping both Dedis. Got the GRA order in my CA delivered as well. But would probably need support with the error on the NVMe?

Note to self generate 20 invoices and pay them after the sale ends

Do I pay the one I generated in BHS? mmmm

All my recent BHS were just with RAM upgrade.

  • A user here is doing a transfer of a mystery box to my account but for some reason it keeps erroring on their end in the To Do “section”. We both are on the same region IE accounts and both are scratching our heads as to why it keeps erroring.

Any suggestions? The server has a few failover IP’s attached to it, could those be the culprit?

We have a ticket open but knowing how slow OVH ticket support can be, I thought I’d ask here in the meantime if someone might’ve encountered a similar situation? 😊

  • I've had 2x AMD EPYC 7351P, 128GB DDR4, 2x 1TB NVMe in LIM, and 1x E-2288G, 64GB DDR4, 2x 960GB NVMe in RBX.

GRA deployed to the advertised spec.

Do they have an unpaid invoice maybe, it happened to me before.
