About 20 TB(outgoing) or 30-40TB(both incoming and outgoing) would be reasonable. I understand both performance and bandwidth may not go hand to hand at this price but if you are able to achieve it, you'll land the best provider spot IMO(as long as u dont deadpool, of course).
Do you allow reselling?
Also do you have an API integration in your roadmap?
it was only a matter of time before the hammersmiths became aware of this offer...
Not on our current host systems, as they have limited drive cage space.
However, we’re planning a new Turin-based host with HDD support for this feature in the future!
You can find our Terms of Service on our legal page.
Mining and other continuous load programs are prohibited. Of course, you're free to use all of your allocated CPU resources — but not for continuous 100% load over several days.
If we notice continuous load activity, we’ll reach out to the customer to discuss whether an upgrade to a more suitable VPS plan is possible. If not, we may need to terminate the contract.
API access is on our roadmap, but there are a few other features that will come first.
Currently, we don’t have any specific rules regarding reselling. But now that you mention it, we’ll bring it up internally and consider updating our Terms of Service.
As of now, I don’t believe there’s anything that would prohibit reselling.
Hope you can offer packages with larger memory and storage options, like:
CPU: 4/6 cores
RAM: 16/24GB
Storage: NVMe 200GB+ + 1TB HDD
Oh, then I hope you guys can make more VDS models with dedicated physical CPU cores. Starting from 1 core, 2 cores, 3 cores, 4 physical cores,... dedicated
We offer packages with more RAM and storage on our website
For example:
• 6 Cores / 16 GB RAM / 180 GB NVMe
• 10 Cores / 32 GB RAM / 400GB NVMe
NVMe storage can be upgraded on the go. HDD storage will be available in the future when we get new host nodes.
Expect high performance HDD servers
🚀 IPv6 and Windows Templates Are Now Available!
We’ve just launched IPv6 support!
Every VM now gets a /64 IPv6 allocated.
For existing VMs: You can add an IPv6 address via the "Networking" tab in our management panel.
A quick reboot is required after adding the address.
All new orders will receive IPv6 automatically.
We’ve also released our first Windows Server template:
➡️ Windows Server 2022 is now available for installation!
@itachikonoha @Alyx @hyperblast
Woa, that was waster than expected!
@yoursunny
I have bought the promo pack and I'll be honest.
I AM IMPRESSED!
I put it under stress of encoding and it more or less, matched with 9950x 2 core performance from berohost.
(Note: The server is running at 75% threshold [set by me] throttle to not exceed the usage limit).
So whatever performance is giving the output, it is 70-75% of max capacity only.
YABS around 2800-2900 GB 6 single core should be correct looking at the performance.
@ComputeBox As a customer, I appreciate the quick work to bring Windows and IPV6. And the performance is noteworthy.
I highly recommend it.
I can't agree with you more -- the performance of the VM is absolutely stunning. Superbly fast. Only "issue" for me is the low bandwidth, but it still will have its own use-cases.
Love the fast upgrade to IPv6 too
I bought one. Nice offer
We always try to prioritize customer requests when developing new features.
Next on our update list: VNC support and more OS templates!
You can always request new features via our ticket system.
Currently on our to-do list: Backups, Firewall, and more self-service options for storage, bandwidth, and general upgrades.
Damn this Launch Promo is a fast beast... good work ComputeBox Team!
@ComputeBox is one of my favorite provider now. I tried many but till now, only berohost & netcup is matching the performance till now.
Hi LET!
I'm Moritz, also known as Flint, and I'm one of the founders of ComputeBox. I’ve created my own personal account to interact a bit more with LET while our main account will stay more focused on our own projects
Since a few people have asked for more details about our Team and the project, I thought I’d share a little background about myself. I’m 23 years old and from northern Germany. I’ve been working in IT professionally since I was 17, but my interest in servers started much earlier. I think my very first server was hosted back in 2013 by KTS24 — though they had a different name back then @RapToN — and I bought my first physical server at 15 to start building my own homelab.
I’ve always been more of a hardware and infrastructure kind of guy. Coding isn’t my main strength, but I can get around well enough to support our main developer, Yonathan, with most of the work on the platform. My main focus within ComputeBox is on infrastructure and networking — basically making sure the backend stays rock solid. Since we primarily focus on business clients, we put a strong emphasis on keeping our systems stable, secure, and reliable at all times.
I completed a three-year apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration at one of Germany’s largest IT companies. During that time, I gained a lot of experience with server hosting and datacenter operations, especially for business clients.
That’s just a quick introduction to myself — we’ll share more about our company’s history and background in our next deal post.
Any plans for a looking glass or a RIPE atlas probe?
I’ve just set up our Looking Glass — you can check it out here: https://lg.computebox.de/
I purchased the Launch Promo yesterday. Apart from the small storage space, I am quite satisfied with it so far. I hope there will be a three-year discount plan available in the future!
Is it possible to set rDNS for both IPv4 and IPv6 from your panel?
Currently not available
Currently, no — and not in the near future. Features like rDNS aren’t a top priority at the moment, as our main focus is on gaining full control over our network infrastructure (including our own ASN, BGP routing, etc.).
I will certainly put rDNS on our Roadmap.
Personally, I’d like to gain more hands-on experience with ASN, BGP, and everything that comes with it before I feel confident enough to launch a production-ready ASN setup for a larger-scale project like ComputeBox.
Before diving into that, the next big item on my to-do list is dedicated servers. We want them to be fully integrated into our existing panel, and since we can’t really rely on any off-the-shelf solutions, it’s going to involve a fair bit of custom development.
Sorry for the confusion — I just woke up and mixed things up a bit.
Of course, rDNS isn’t directly related to ASN or BGP.
IPv4 rDNS should be available in the next few weeks.
IPv6 rDNS is a bit more complex, as we currently only have the subnet allocated to us, but we don’t manage it ourselves. I’ll need to check whether we can offer rDNS with our current allocation, or if we’ll need to request a new IPv6 subnet that we can fully control.
Unfortunately both IPs are not pingable.
Should be fixed by now, please try again
The "own IP" is wrong
Very satisfied with launch promo vps. Friendly panel, quickly order and payment process. I tend to order more but all of EPYC is out of stock
EPYC Turin is available for orders again!
There’s still plenty of capacity on our current hosts, and we’ll have new hardware ready to go as soon as the existing ones start to fill up. So no worries — we’re ready to scale
