This is availability API, not the catalog API. When you order this plan code you will get 400.
Fun whilst it lasted
Got pending order still hoping on getting fat nvmes
Got another delivered in SGS but sadly no lottery upgrade on this, only the CPU and NVMe. Already asked refund
I see private network under Networking for one of the servers but not sure if it really has it or not.
So can I just ask for a refund and they will refund the whole amount?
I also have this, and i can Attach a vRack private network
Asking is free, what you get is a mystery.
Have you successfully attached a vRack to the service?
How do you attach it thou? I didn't bother checking it before.
Yes.
You wont be able to actually attach it...
An error has occurred attaching the private network: The call does not answer to the POST HTTP methodhttps://help.ovhcloud.com/csm/en-dedicated-servers-configuring-vrack?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0044066
Does it actually let you attach though? I highly doubt it but its ovh so you never truly know
When I visit vRack menu under https://www.ovh.com/manager/#/dedicated/vrack/onboarding I see Order button so I guess I can't mount anything.
Can someone enlighten me what is vRack and why it's sought for?
Fair enough. I didn't even bother to go that far since my luck is quite pathetic.
OVH have a page on that.

In the context of OVHcloud, "vRack" refers to OVHcloud's private network solution. Here's a breakdown:
OVHcloud vRack:
It's a technology that allows you to create private, secure connections between your OVHcloud services. This can include:
Dedicated servers
Public Cloud instances
Private Cloud services
Essentially, vRack enables you to build your own isolated private network within OVHcloud's infrastructure.
This is very useful for situations where you need to keep traffic between your servers and services private, for security or performance reasons.
Key benefits of OVHcloud vRack:
Enhanced Security:
It isolates your network traffic, preventing it from traversing the public internet.
Private Communication:
It allows for secure communication between your various OVHcloud services.
Flexibility:
It enables you to create complex, hybrid cloud environments.
Inter-regional networking:
It allows for secure private networking between OVHcloud datacenters in different geographical locations.
In summary, when you see "vRack private network" in OVHcloud, it means you're dealing with a secure, isolated network that you can use to connect your OVHcloud services.
have Kimsufi instances ever properly supported vRack? I'd buy 5 of almost anything for a crash-y k8s test cluster if they ever popped up...
Nope, ive never seen a KS server support it
I guess you meant to quote @dedipromo
