    Building a managed SaaS especially when the customers share some of the infrastructure is hard. Users can cause issues for eachother and you will find unexpected things happen that you never accounted for. A bunch of LET users testing free plan probably helped them find lots of issues/bugs along the way. I'd assume their support prioritises paying customers and are just very busy. At least I hope :smile:
    Always cool to see independent players in ddos protection space not just megacorps.

    I'm not talking about this thread. I'm talking about a ticket I opened in the 17th of March which is still open without response.

    According to their website they have 100+ paid clients. I hope they do get support.

    Or, realizing that half the requests in the thread for free upgrades are from new accounts with like 3 posts whose only contributions to LET are commenting for free stuff or upgrades, and likely suffering abuse from the sign ups, decided its not worth the hassle.

    Plus, isn't it only two POPs? Neat service but hardly a production ready Cloudflare alternative.

    Hope to see the product expand more but if you open yourself up to free signups from LET you'll find many will simply try to abuse your service.

    One. His dads old company also had ideas to open up more DCs worldwide and offer DDoS protection with anycasted stuff but that also never happened. But like you and fatchan mentioned, seeing more and more alternatives is great.

    My Let's Encrypt certificate has automagically appeared after 4 days. I didn't touch anything in the mean time. Perhaps there is some sort of hidden cronjob that kicks off... spooky nonetheless.

    Doesn't look good when your own site is 275ms ping... Part of Cloudflare is the routing - they route via their own network most of the time to the host

    Seems like theres a lot of down time too... tried running a website on the free plan... on the first day I experienced over 2 hours of downtime... moved straight off of it back onto CF.
