May I check with the LET community members who gotten this special deal VM from DeluxHost and installed Windows Server 2025, are you facing high CPU usage causes by "System Interrupts"?
I gotten my 4GB RAM on 21 Mar 2025 and I deployed Windows 2025 using the pre-configured image found inside the VirtFusion portal.
For the past 1 week observation, the idle CPU usage is closer to 30%.
I have attempted to update the Windows Drivers to the latest stable version provided by Fedora. No improvement has been observed.
I have also tested the nested virtualization feature by activating the Core Isolation Security Feature in Windows, it works but the VM is very slow.
If DeluxHost is able to rectify these issues, this special promotion could be a good deal.
Comparing to Microsoft Azure, a similar specs D2s v3 come with 2x CPU core and 8GB RAM cost more than the €15 DeluxHost 2x CPU Core with 8GB RAM which offer similar feature.
For your info, the Azure D2s V3 series VM also uses Xeon E5 2673 v4 and the older Xeon E5 2673 v3 CPU. Therefore, the argument of DeluxHost using "E-Waste" to me is not valid.
At least DeluxHost is not using older Hardware such as those Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge CPU offered by ColoCrossing.

Hi, please open a ticket, but as said on promotion we only support Linux for this plans.
I’d like to share my experience with Deluxhost regarding their affiliate program. Initially, I asked them whether affiliate earnings that fall below the withdrawal threshold could be transferred to my account balance for purchasing their services. They gave me a clear "yes" in response. Encouraged by this, I referred 12 people to their service. However, when I later requested to transfer my affiliate commissions to my balance to make a purchase, they replied with, "For offert plan affiliate is not available."
I’d like to ask whether this is reasonable or potentially fraudulent behavior. In my opinion, if they didn’t intend to offer commissions for discounted plans, they could have set the commission rate to 0 in the backend or implemented some other transparent measure. Instead, they only informed me of this restriction when I tried to use the earnings. This feels inconsistent with their earlier assurance, and I’m curious to hear others’ thoughts or experiences on this matter.

Whether there's a problem or not (which I doubt) , 2vcpu is not enough to run windows server 2025, It'll probably run slow on a 9950x let alone an e5

I finally managed to get the 8GB RAM version of this deal.
I spotted that there are some difference between initial offer and the new X-4.
The older deal is using the Dual Intel Xeon E5-2690 v4 with 10Gbps port. While the newer deal is using the Intel Xeon E5 2650 v4 with 1Gbps Port.
Gonna install Linux for this 8GB machine instead as a mini Lab environment for K8s.

I see the main point of zGato case is "you stepped into his house without his consent".

I am not zGato to say which data is involved in here, just from my pov, you breaking into his house that's it.
Stop your bs about "we're not doing shady things with your data becoz we do not care", yeah, the point is you are in people's house lurking.
