@CharityHost_org statement please
@CharityHost_org is cooked pretty good unless we get explanation
Free service customer was using was an AUP violation. Filled the account to the top with stolen porn videos. We respect privacy, but reserve the right to audit if we suspect violations. It's our network and systems we maintain and are responsible for. Customers violating terms and policies will not be allowed to continue.
i will not try to host anything on provider like this. looks like "there are no free meals" is true.
really will not host on provider who will peek on your things.
What exactly do you fear being discovered of illegal content and activity? Specially when account being anonymous? Privacy has limits, when you do illegal activity and break polices/rules, privacy is no longer a right. That goes all around. The systems are owned by others, namely the hosting companies, and using them illegally warrants an audit, so it goes.
you do this to paid customers too
let it be known that charityhost will snoop on your stuff for any reason they themselves decide might be a violation
great for the response like this, i will stay away from provider like this
NGO/nonprofit Life Time Discounts
but you will no have privacy on any files at your server.
BE CAREFULL EVERYONE !!!!!
@angstrom You can close this thread too. It is providing no value by members defending and pointing out an AUP violation that the customer has lodged a complaint campaign about. We are allowing him to retrieve his data from the free account, but an admin fee is associated with the violation.
If you break laws, policies, terms, etc, your right to privacy is nulled. That's normal. Stop breaking the rules, policies, terms and laws! And please stay away from our host as clearly you are defending illegal activity.
