Looking for KS-A or similar
Hello,
I am looking for a dedicated server similar to OVH's KS-A. I work with media and require encoding when sharing videos with clients. Ideally I'd like an Intel CPU with Quicksync support, but a more powerful CPU (for software encoding) will also suffice. A decent amount of bandwidth is required but speed isn't too crucial. (i.e. '100 Mbps fair use' is fine). Finally, I require at least 1TB of (ideally SSD) storage.
Budget is $10USD/month if billed monthly (or <$100/year)
Any location, but I'm willing to pay more if located in APAC.

(P.S. anyone who doesn't require their KS-A anymore, I'm willing to pay to have it transferred)

There is no sane person who will transfer ksa without substantial transfer fee. Atm it is 400€. On top of that, there is rigorous tests to determine if you even qualify to pay transfer fee.

400 euros is quite an absurd amount, at that price, other options are in reach.
Maybe if you hold onto it long enough, then it’d be worth it.

How about you settle for KS-1?
I currently host on a Dell Optiplex Micro with a i5-6500. It runs video encoding perfectly and I have no issues, besides the limited network bandwidth. The KS-1 is a bit slow for software encoding and I tried many large VPS deals that perform similar to the KS-1 whilst costing less.
