Also remember you were complaining about invidious yesterday? At midnight yesterday they changed something and sniped 3 of my IPs too :D

    Thanked by 2JohnFilch123 Decicus
  • It is more about Google when they change something in the code and invidious stops working until there is a patch in like 2 weeks or something, so I have to switch to native youtube, which kinda does not make sense.

    Thanked by 1wadhah
  • wadhahwadhah Member, Host Rep

Yeah they did that yesterday, but patch is already working today as of couple of hours ago. I now have to update everything and change ips again

    Pain.

Trust me that guide/repo makes it 100 times easier than following the normal docs for each component :D

    but is it worth it?

If you want super detailed accurate long term storage of history and detailed notifications then yes.

Otherwise just use beszel, for 30 days history

Is it possible to show nodes on top with highest cpu, network or io?

I mean not just sort, but with alert config? like if CPU usage is above 30% or network usage or io .. like ignore all sorting and just show on top because of alert.

Netdata is basically paid now, if you easily get overwhelmed with too much data, do not use it. It is the definition of information overload.

Yup! But "Active Alerts" on top works too. Actually even better, I dont have to go through the table but just need to see if theres anything under "Active Alerts".

I mean not just sort, but with alert config? like if CPU usage is above 30% or network usage or io .. like ignore all sorting and just show on top because of alert.

looks like it - its now sorted based on CPU. can sort by any of the column shown.

Ah umm the ones with white filled bell symbols.
Does that mean alerts configed or one of the alert config has been hit?

    Also have you tried Netdata?

White bells are what I have set alerts for. Usually you get mails when it's hit. Dunno if it comes to top tho.

@sh97 Ignore this if you dont want to talk about it publicly.

Im waiting on Phill to confirm whether its safe to install beszel agent on VF hypervisors. Wondering if you guys use same at Crunchbits?

Just wanna make sure before I go ahead with it hahaha.

@wadhah said: Oh it's not easy at all to setup :D

But it is one of the most complicated pieces of software out there tbh

Trust me that guide/repo makes it 100 times easier than following the normal docs for each component :D

    but is it worth it?

If you want super detailed accurate long term storage of history and detailed notifications then yes.

Otherwise just use beszel, for 30 days history

Is it possible to show nodes on top with highest cpu, network or io?

Oh, strictly not - this is just me hobbying stuff away.
At CB, it's Hetrix for monitoring. Solid - just works.
