Met a lady at the airport. She couldn’t figure out if the bag was hers. Maybe needed her glasses or whatever but I didn’t ask. She asked me for help and I said yes. Even though I was running late and had to call an Uber to another airport to catch my flight (cancellations and all).
I helped her identify she had someone else’s bag and put it back on belt. She couldn’t lift it. Then I went over to the other belts to find her bag because she was flying United, not JetBlue. She was in the wrong area.
Boarding my flight now. Last one on. Barely made it. Still worth it, she would be lost or even taking someone else’s bag home otherwise.
Idk if this counts. But I feel good about it.
As someone who has never gotten their bag because someone else took it, I feel good I helped someone avoid the pain I faced long ago.
