Thoughts on AliPay?

Do any of you use AliPay? What are your thoughts on it? Would you recommend it?

Thanks

  • You need a Chinese bank. The money gets paid there. If that's what you want sure - but not useful for the others (i.e. most here).

  • @RLT_Alex we offer Alipay for a number of brands, they've been great for Asian customers and the chargeback risk from the neverending stream of stolen credit cards is also alleviated.

Yea, we're in the US...at least I am. Seams mostly everyone here is in the EU.
I can imaging the transfer costs and delays to/from a bank in China.

  • @oneilonline - Keep in China to cover your costs there

Some ISPs, like Comcast, block access to chinese websites, or at least are heavily filtered.
