Fuck I just realised I lost $500 because I forgot to claim my card cashback reward last year. The email was sent to me during BF 2024 (which of course I never check my email) and I just remembered about it... FML

And to be fair the bank sent lots of random shit so it is hard to tell which one is the legit ones. And to be eligible for the cashback reward you have to subscribe to their promotional material and they purposely delay the reward redemption to almost half year later to prevent you from just turning off the spam mails after claiming the reward

Sometimes I feel rather sad because I am usually being extra careful and it saved me from mistakes from time to time. But only 1 blunder is needed to completely wipe my savings away.
